Is there any way to connect my laptop to the TV on the Carnival Miracle or any other Carnival ship for that matter. My son tells me that unless you can put the TV in input mode, it cannot be done, you have to be able to tell the TV which signal to recognize, ie., the coax input or my laptop jacks.

Never select a cabin with an adjoining cabin. They are very noisy. As it is, it seems that the cabin walls are made of paper. In addition to being noisy, people are always turning the doorknob. It takes some people a very long time to figure out that the door does not lead to their private spa.

My wife and I have a disagreement. We have been on 5 cruises, all with Carnival. When room service brings us something, my wife always gives them a tip. I explained to her that we are paying $11.50 per day per person. That's $161 for our typical 7 day Mexican coast cruise. Does anyone know what portion of this money goes to the stateroom people? What is standard practice?

I just returned from a Carnival cruise. On the TV,(I believe that i was watching TCM) it said the a certain movie will air 21.00MX 22.00CH & 24.00PE

Are those time zones and how are they interpreted? Since I was on a ship, I follow ship time which changes from port to port. thanks
