We are booked in 2421 this September. I know it is on other side of ship and back a few cabins, but you and I will still be under the galley. It sounds like it will be hit or miss as to the noise.

 

Carnival really messed up it they can't keep the noise down. They will have a lot of P'ed off parents if their kids can't sleep at night.

 

I have been watching for reviews of this area to, but will let you know after September if it is a problem where I am at.

We just booked a Family Harbor Suite - stateroom 2398. I was super excited, and then started reading that there may be issues with where this entire area is located, and that it may be very noisy. Has anyone sailed in a Family Harbor Suite yet, particularly that stateroom and have any input? I'm getting scared about the noise now. :eek:

So I'm poking around the Carnival website, and I see we (Florida) are getting the Vista (YAY).. but I also see sailings for the Breeze in Texas. So, have we (Florida) lost Breeze after gaining Vista? Any word on this? I love, love, love Carnival Breeze, so if we are losing here in Miami, I MUST sail on her on elast time before she goes. I just can't see paying airfare to travel for a cruise when we have so many ports here in FL. So, if the Breeze is in fact leaving, I'll be sad. :(

My dh and I both received an email from carnival for Diamond members and the price over in Spain was not to bad. I was looking at a cove balcony on Oct. 16th 2016 for 13 nights transatlantic crossing and it was 2600., but airfare one way pretending it was this Oct. 2015 was 4500.

Is that the rate for being diamond, or just the rate? That's not too bad.

If you don't have a passport, and are on a closed loop cruise, you will need original birth cert. and your ID. I don't have a passport, so this is how I always cruise.

I went in December. The weather was beautiful for laying out on the beach, but the water was like ice! I didn't get in past my ankles, however there were some that were swimming.

I have one and it's doing just fine... Have had it for almost a year now.

Seems like directly though Carnival is the winner here. Thanks everyone!!
