  1. Does anyone know who will be taking over from Jamie Fentiman on Indy in March .... I will be doing a b2b cruise and will be onboard for the TA back to Southampton.... I am aware that Jamie will be on Indy out of Southampton...he has posted on a Facebook topic that Joff has been moved and he is taking over, but no one seems to know who will be on Indy in the interim

  2. I am looking to book Rhapsody of the Seas next year for our 25th wedding anniversary. Have cruised with RC many times before, but have always had a balcony cabin. We are looking to book a Junior Suite for the first time, and wondered whether we are best to book an Aft cabin or Midship? Both cabins are available on Deck 8.

Any advice would be gratefully received

    Many Thanks

  3. We are looking at a cruise round the Caribbean next year (May) either from Florida or Texas.

I've tried to get an idea on flights but can currently only book a flight to Orlando (from the UK). I ideally need to book the cruise soon as we need connecting rooms and I know these go quick but have no guarantee there will be any flights on the days we need them to anywhere other than Orlando.

Should I risk booking the cruise now or wait until the flights come out?

I have just booked the Caribbean TA for next year...cruise only. Flights are unavailable at the moment as the cruise is over a year away, but we wanted to choose our cabin! Flights will be easy to come by at a later date

  4. Personally I have booked the cruise Only, then I'll watch the prices of flights and when they are a price I'm ok with I'll book them and never check again (incase the price lowers lol) . Are you UK or USA based?

  5. We've booked!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D:D:DI have been haunting the website waiting for it to be announced and booked yesterday morning. We got a JS with $500 obc at a price that is majorly low for that cabin ( almost what i paid for a balcony on this years Navi TA) I will check if a roll call starts before i get back in May if no one starts one i will when i get back.

I’ve started a roll call....I think! Not started one before!

We were on the TA on Navigator in November....loved it.

We are off on Mariner in April, so hopefully when we get back some others may have joined us on here.......if I’ve done the roll call right that is!!!

  6. There used to be a Vintages on the Royal Promenade on deck 5, but I believe they put a retail venue in there when they Asianized the ship. Same with the Champagne Bar. Looks like Boleros is still there. I would not expect them to make major changes prior to the dry dock in May.

    Thank you :)

  7. Go to cruisedeckplans.com There are pictures and a video of the 2 BD on Mariner plus just about every other room on every other ship. You don't have to join.

Ive just clicked on this link and was interested to see that the deck plans are different for sailings after 2nd April 2018 and before the refurb....anybody know why this might be....Im sailing on Mariner OTS on 9th April. Thank you

  8. Just means it includes everything.....coffee, juices, sodas, non alcoholic cocktails, premium alcoholic cocktails, beers, wines and water....should be around £42 per day at the moment.....I buy it every time !!!!!🥂[emoji898][emoji483][emoji485][emoji3]🥃[emoji481][emoji482][emoji924]

Drink limit is $14 when sailing from U.K this includes the 18% gratuity

  9. I would stick with the port side. The Nov transatlantic is Westbound & on the port side you will get the sun (such as it is on that itinerary) most of the day.

The UK customer service will probably charge you to change cabins, as UK bookings do not have the flexibility of US bookings.

We did this itinerary in Nov 16, had a port side balcony & some amazing views of the Statue of Liberty when sailing into New York.

    Perfect...thankyou:)

  10. I think you mean westbound transatlantic' date=' don't you? I prefer port side going west and starboard going east.

As far as charges for changing cabins, you need to ask your travel agent. I don't have to pay extra for changing cabins but I live in the U.S.[/quote']

    Yes I do!!!!

Put it down to late posting!!!

    Thanks

  11. i currently have a balcony cabin deck 8 midship port side booked for a November transatlantic from Southampton to Boston.

I have not done a TA before and am wondering if I would be better changing the cabin to starboard ...... the same cabin is currently available on the opposite side.....any advice would be gratefully received.

Also is there any administration charge for changing cabins?

    Thank you :)
