  1. We've sailed on both. Loved the regal princess. And will be on Silhouette next May. Found both lines quite similar with three key differences : Princess's International cafe is 24x7 whilst Celebrity's equivalent (forget the name) is not. Princess's self service laundry and ironing option is welcome, Celebrity does not offer that. For smokers into gaming, the Princess casino is a far more pleasurable experience- Celebrity's casino is completely non smoking. In fact smokers can not smoke anywhere indoors on Celebrity which is not the case with Princess.

  2. Hi everyone

I'm interested in buying an Internet package, which as suggested is better bought on board. But what I'm not sure is whether the entire ship( we are the Connie in 2 weeks ) is WiFi and if we can use the net for working from the cabin or its operative only in certain hot spots or the I lounge?

    Appreciate if anyone can clarify

    Thanks

  3. My alcoholic drinks would be pay as I go. How do i get an idea about the px of the cocktail I order ? Wouldn't that depend on the liquor used? For ex if I order a vodka based drink shd I expect to be served absolut or grey goose? Do i specify each time? I'm pretty sure I don't know my booze that well. Grateful for views on how this would work in practice.

  4. From what I have been told, if it is done before the sail date of the cruise - then everyone in the cabin has to have the same package. If done at a bar onboard - just one person in a cabin can do it no problem. And there is no price difference on drink packages beforehand or on-board.

The Celebrity rep I spoke to said the 2nd person needn't have the same package , in fact, needn't have any pkg if that's what (s)he wanted. And that that policy applied to online purchase pre sailing and to on board purchase.

  5. just tasted like a "spanish" coffee if you've ever had that before. It was nice - - Drinks like that are hard on my stomach though - combination of coffee and strong alcohol lol. The presentation of everything at El Bacio is very nice.

Thanks . Nope I'm not familiar with Spanish coffee but will be sure to get to know the Bacio menu :) and I guess if my classic pkg doesn't get one of those I will just pay as I go.
