Fabulous pictures and review! Loving it as always. Subscribed.
We were just at Paradise beach on the 10th with NCL Pearl. It was pretty empty because it was a Sunday and many places were closed in Cozumel. We paid $3pp to enter. We also used the toys and nobody said anything. I had thought that the toys were extra too, but figured since it was slow and a Sunday they didn't care. What I didn't know was about the snorkeling gear. They charged DH $20 for fins. We thought it was ridiculous too but I told DH to just pay it. I guess in essence we paid for the use of the toys that way. Either way, it was a great day, cloudy and all.
Thanks for sharing your experience with us!

I don’t think it’s worth the 5k pp, but it was def worth the extra $500 pp we bid (and won) for it on our last cruise.

Enjoying your review. Thanks for sharing.

Did you buy any photos from the site?
No, we gave the another look and decided not to.

I'm not sure about the email you are referring to and I'm always wary about clicking links sent to me via email. However, you can view and purchase prints of photos from past cruises at http://nclphotos.com/. I was successful at retrieving photos from my cruise last year at this site. I did have issues at first signing in, but their customer service was quick to respond and help me sign in.

We used them last year and did the Jeep excursion. They were responsive via email and we had an amazing tour. Check out their trip advisor reviews.

I didn’t see Casablanca Hotelon the list (probably because it is a boutique hotel). This is the info they posted on their Facebook page today:
To our Loved Guests,
Hurricane Maria has struck the Island pretty hard. Our hotel is up and running, not without a lot of effort from everyone here and we want to thank each and every person for all their support. From the owner, to the employees, to our suppliers and guests who spent these couple of days with us.
Things are resorting quickly, but our phones and communications are up and down.
We are so thankful that everyone is alive and safe.
Please wait to message us about your travel plans at reservations@hotelcasablancapr.com until the last minute.
We are encouraging travelers to check on the status of their flights for the coming weeks as the airport has been operating with some delays.
Praying you and your loved ones are safe and well, one can never underestimate the power of nature.
See you soon!
Casablanca Hotel team

I apologize for the typo in the subject... I meant... Hyatt PLACE.

Thought I'd put this info here for anyone that has upcoming reservations at the Hyatt House or Hyatt Place. This is posted on their site today:
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Hyatt House San Juan operations have been impacted by Hurricane Maria’s recent passage through the area. The hotel is currently closed and not accepting reservations until further notice. Hyatt House San Juan will waive all cancellation charges and refund all deposits for stays during this period, and will work with each traveler to make future arrangements. Guests with upcoming reservations should call 1-800-323-7249 as storms have affected hotel communications.IMPORTANT NOTICE: Hyatt Place San Juan/City Center operations have been impacted by Hurricane Maria’s recent passage through the area. Unfortunately twitter and FB is the best source of news.
I have family there too and I’m still waiting to hear if everyone is okay. It’s painful to see a place I once called home in such a devastated state. Praying.

DH doesn't drink alcohol but the UBP gratuity paid for is still adds up to be a deal because it includes soda and Virgin drinks that he will enjoy throughout the cruise. I contemplated choosing the UBP as my perk, but once I did the math on the drinks I'd probably have throughout the trip and the soda package for DH, it was basically the cost of the gratuities for us.

Sale Away Balcony
in Norwegian Cruise Line
Posted
We recently booked a sail away balcony on the Epic for Oct and not even 2 days after booking, we were assigned our cabin —- deck 10, midship. I was pleasantly surprised.
