Another possibility - and just an option.

 

We stayed over in Stockholm afterwards for several days. We took a taxi to the airport later afternoon prior to flying out on what I want to say was a 6:30A departure. We stayed at the Airport hotel. Nothing fancy, but extremely clean and comfortable. There were restaurants at the airport and all we had to do was walk to our flight as it is right inside the Airport. So you could do that or eat dinner on board and head out after if you chose to.

 

That said, food and sleeping arrangements are oh so much better on Viking.

Another question: will they have an option for transportation? Or would it be best to arrange for it myself? I’m not using Viking Air.

We are departing Stockholm (ARN) on a 7:45 am flight on the day of disembarkation. The ship docks the day before. Would it be best to disembark the night before our flight and stay at a hotel near the airport or disembark super early the day of our flight? Will Viking let us disembark at any time? Would that be a problem?

We are also on the May 15,2018 Viking’s Homeland from Bergen to Stockholm. I have started a roll call for the cruise. I see that midnight1717 and Kathy A might be on the same cruise. Would love if you’d join. We too are figuring out how to get to Bergen from Oslo. Might try Norway in a nutshell
