Can anyone tell me if they noticed if the English Premier League football is usually shown in the sports bar of MSC ships?
-
Thanks Darcy, did you buy it before you went or when you boarded?
Just trying to see if you save much buying before we go!
Cheers!

Thanks for your reply alanyaboy, what was the package that you had called?
Was it this one;
Streamer Cruise Plus
Full Internet access including Audio and Video up to 1500 MBs + an esclusive 20% more data (total amount 1800 MBs)
I couldn't see one on the MSC web site for £35, the one above is £49 each.
How did you find the data allowance, did it last you all day?

I've heard a lot of bad reviews on the MSC wi-fi on the Fantasia, is it really that bad??
Is it much cheaper ordering before you go?
I was looking at the 'Social Cruise' package at £14 which gives unlimited usage of chat apps and social networks for the whole cruise.

Great, thanks Bea, I'll def do that!
How did you rate the cruise overall Bea?
I've been on the Divina in the Caribbean, presuming it will be similar, we loved that, also did NCL Getaway last year. Loved that even more!

Brilliant review so far Pete, looking forward to the rest - we'll be getting on the ship next Sunday at Abu Dhabi!!
Great info too Bea!
Bit worried about the cabin cards though as we intended to board the ship around 9ish and after a freshen up leave the ship to see a bit of Abu Dhabi. Not sure how we can leave the ship before 1pm if the cards aren't ready!
Any ideas if this is possible??

Has anyone got a copy of the tex mex and steakhouse menu for the Fantasia??
I'm sure I've seen it on here but just can't find it!
Cheers!
-
Have a great one Bea!
Can you take some pics of the menus from the MDR if you get a chance?
Looking forward to any info whilst you're on board, we're travelling on Fantasia in 2 weeks time!!

Hi all,
Has anyone who has recently cruised the Dubai itinerary on the Fantasia got copies of the MDR menus?
Just wanting to see the differences compared to when we went on the Divina on a Caribbean itinerary!
Cheers!

Hi Everyone, is the striploin steak not on the 'always available' section of the menu??
Anyone know if it's any good?
Thanks.

Thanks for your comments Capricruiser and 1fifthavenue! I think we will do that, it'll probably be less stressful in the end!

We're due to go on the Fantasia in March boarding at Abu Dhabi. Does anyone know if we can go sightseeing straight from the airport??
i.e. Can we collect our luggage at the airport baggage carousel, put it on the MSC coach then go sightseeing? Will our luggage be automatically put on the cruise ship ready for when we board?
We would like to get to see the sights as soon as possible!

Great menu pics!
Do they still have the 'always available' menu items on the MDR menus?

Hi all,
Has anyone who has recently cruised the Dubai itinerary on the Fantasia got copies of the MDR menus?
Cheers!

Thanks for the info Darcy, can you go to your cabin straight away to get them?
Just thinking how you get drinks etc without your card otherwise!

Hey guys!
Just after some info from anyone who has sailed Fantasia recently.
It sounds like embarkation has changed a little since I went on Divina a couple of years ago, can anyone confirm the process of checking in?
Particularly about getting your cabin key cards and photos taken etc?
Cheers!

Can anyone advise how long it took to clear customs in Dubai after docking at 9am for those recently sailed on the UAE itinerary? We dock at 9am and would like to book an independent tour in the marina for 10:15am, just not sure if this is long enough to clear and travel 30 mins. Many thanks

Thanks for your comments 1fifthavenue, CruiseIreland and peteukmcr!
We usually drink a pinot griggio but we'll give the white a try, if we like it we won't bother upgrading.
Roll on the 12th March!

We're due to go on the Fantasia in March, just wondering if anyone knows which white wines are available on the Allegrissimo drinks package (std all inclusive package).
I believe 2 white wines available, be great to know which ones they are!
Cheers for any help!

Thanks for the pics, reminded me how great Divina looked!
We're travelling on Fantasia in March!
Can anyone answer a couple of questions please?
Was the kids slush machines included in the all inclusive drinks package?
Was there a charge to play squash, if so how much?
Many thanks!

There's no problem ordering extras, be it sides, appetisers, mains or desserts.
There are generally seven courses in the MDR: Appetisers, soup, salad, pasta/risotto, mains, dessert, cheese plate. There will be a fish dish, meat offering and vegetarian option for the main course. These change every night but there is an 'Always Available' list which includes salmon, chicken and "beef palliard" which is akin to a cheap steak cut. If there isn't anything on the menu that appeals, have a word with your table waiter. It is sometimes possible to go off menu, though you usually have to give them a day's notice.
Thanks for the quick reply Bea, if anyone has Fantasia MDR menu photos, it would be much appreciated.
Can't wait for the cruise, we only booked it yesterday!

Hi Everyone,
We are due to go on the Fantasia in March on the Dubai/Emirates itinerary, I had a couple of questions that I hope someone can help me with;
Firstly, does anyone have any photos of the MDR menus that are likely to be on the Fantasia?
Secondly, my parents will be with us and I'm a bit worried the food may be not quite what they expect! I was wondering if when you order the main dishes/entrees can you order extra sides to go with them such as potatoes and fries?
Thanks for your help!
Paul.

Hi there,
Could anyone advise of the specific outdoor areas that smoking is permitted on Fantasia please?
My in-laws are smokers and are travelling with us on our next cruise. Any outdoor bar areas which smoking is permitted would also be very helpful to know.
Many thanks in advance

Hi All,
We want a beach stop for a few hours when we stop at Dubai on the Fantasia, has anyone got any thoughts on where's best to go?
I'm not sure whether to do a hotel day pass or someone said Jumeirah Beach Resort (Free beach) is ideal for a few hours!
Any thoughts are welcome!
