  1. The two terminals are 500 meters apart. They do it to better cope with the amount of people embarking and disambarking.

Assembly Stations A-D are Terminal B

Assembly Stations F and G are Terminal C.

If your kids ended up in a different terminal also the assembly stations may be off.

Edit: The entire embarkation / disembarkation process is routed this way. If you are in the wrong terminal some poor fellow will also have to manually move your baggage from one end of the ship to the other.

  2. In that picture, it looks like they're replacing all the flooring. I can't quite tell for sure, but doesn't it look like everything has been removed?

I was told during the last cruise by one of the Aqua Theater Staff that the Aqua theater will get a major redo. I believe they are going to replace all the wood work.

  3. Its the last show of Hairspray for Oasis? in transatlantic only has Cats or too Hairspray?

Hairspray is removed and put into Storage. The two main characters told us during a FAQ session that they are leaving Oasis. One of them has a contract in a Broadway play. I can't remember where the second one was heading to.

  4. Zip Line Onboard Activity Waiver - General Terms & Conditions

    • RIDERS must be at least 75 pounds to participate
    • RIDERS must not exceed the maximum weight restriction of 275 pounds.
    • NO ONE under 52" in height may ride/participate in Zip Line ride/activity under any circumstances.
    • Riders are not allowed to participate in the Zip Line activity or sign the waiver while under the influence of, or in any way impaired by, any drug (legal or illegal) or alcohol.

It goes on for 2 pages but this 4 are the most important

    Edit: Bob was faster :-)

  5. Perhaps you can alter the approach. During the discussion it was established that if he tages along the price differences for the cruise is only taxes / tips.

As a gesture of good will you are not charging him for the flight. But he lost his privilege to tag along for free. If he changes his mind he has to pay for the taxes / tips himself.

  6. The people sitting near me at dinner, had this little "band" come by and play happy birthday for me and another couple bought me a drink. I thought that was so nice because I was traveling solo and they were essentially strangers. I was at a table for 4 and two people never came the whole weekend (server said no one was assigned because the ship wasn't full) and the other person only came the first night.

That sounds wonderful. Little gestures can make a huge difference.

  7. ... You can always order room decorations and a cake to make it a little more special. But then I am sure you already know this.

Same here...they ask for the info, then it's gone into cyber-space. No one does anything. If you want something special, you'll have to go to "gifts and gear" and buy it. Or, just wish your parents "Happy Anniversary"....bring a card and gift!

That's what I thought. It just didn't make sense to me to have an option that has no effect at all. I did order room decorations. I will probably try to arrange for a special dinner at giovanni's. I wish they would offer a romantic table for two somewhere on the ship.

It's a pity that even though there are several anniversaries/birthdays a day (4000 guests onboard) they do not offer more options: http://www.royalcaribbean.com/findacruise/experiencetypes/category.do?pagename=onboard_cat_celebrations
