We have the same concerns and had been getting a policy for each cruise. But we just purchased Allianz Annual Premier Plan. Cost is $450 which covers both of us. Covers several things but most important to us is $500,000 emergency medical transportation and $50,000 emergency medical & dental. Website Allianz travel insurance.com. Phone 866 884 3556. Literally purchased it just this week so no experience with claims.

We enjoyed the ship jeep tour in Aruba. On Curaçao definitely try the Irie Tour. Great fun and stops at the distillery and a great little beach. Also includes beverages on the bus (old school bus with no windows).

Thanks. I will look into this when we are in Civitavecchia next year as we do not plan to go into Rome.

Spent the day on Nightwind earlier this year on our day on St. Thomas. Perfect day sailing, swimming and snorkeling. Good lunch and whatever you want to drink. Well worth the cost.

We like it a lot. Very low key which is what we want. Food is good and reasonable as are drinks. We spent a little over $40 for several beers, a couple of margaritas and 2 lunches. I agree that water shoes are a good idea.

Has anyone had any luck with transfers to port from London?
Taking the train from Liverpool Street station is quick and easy. Harwich International station is just a few steps from the ship.

I also agree with bobal. I would not spend much of my day on a. Bus to go to Florence. Instead go to the train station in La Spezia and take the train to the Cinque Terre villages. Each is unique and lovely. Each trip between villages is just a few minutes. Wander around and have a fabulous seafood lunch overlooking the sea.

We have been on Brilliance five times and never encountered rudeness. We like the Radiance class ships - I like all the windows. And the orchestra is terrific. Just my opinion based on my experiences.

We were on Brilliance in early March and it was still there.

Can you tell me if Adventure has a Chef's Table? We are booked on an end of June cruise and would like to do this.

We are looking at transportation options from Anchorage to Seward for an RCL cruise. I found this company (alaskacruisetransfer.com) reviewed on Tripadvisor. They leave Anchorage at noon and arrive at the terminal at 4:30 - this is for the trip with a wildlife park stop. The cost is much less than the train and it seems like you would see pretty much the same scenery - right? Is there any reason to spend so much more to take the train?
