  1. We have the same concerns and had been getting a policy for each cruise. But we just purchased Allianz Annual Premier Plan. Cost is $450 which covers both of us. Covers several things but most important to us is $500,000 emergency medical transportation and $50,000 emergency medical & dental. Website Allianz travel insurance.com. Phone 866 884 3556. Literally purchased it just this week so no experience with claims.

  2. I also agree with bobal. I would not spend much of my day on a. Bus to go to Florence. Instead go to the train station in La Spezia and take the train to the Cinque Terre villages. Each is unique and lovely. Each trip between villages is just a few minutes. Wander around and have a fabulous seafood lunch overlooking the sea.

  3. We are looking at transportation options from Anchorage to Seward for an RCL cruise. I found this company (alaskacruisetransfer.com) reviewed on Tripadvisor. They leave Anchorage at noon and arrive at the terminal at 4:30 - this is for the trip with a wildlife park stop. The cost is much less than the train and it seems like you would see pretty much the same scenery - right? Is there any reason to spend so much more to take the train?
