  1. I just got off the phone with Princess and was told that email submissions are no longer valid.

Did mine in early April with no problem. Guess Princess needs a spare fax machine if they won't accept other avenues!

I email mine to Princess Cruise Advisor so she can ensure it gets credited. It's certainly easier getting my OBC for Military time than as shareholder!!

Do anybody get credit for you and your spouse being shareholders? I'm told only one can get credit but another passenger told me both of them get credit. Comments on that issue??

  2. I suspect one of the reasons they eliminated e-mails for the CCL stock OBC requests is the danger of receiving attachments that might contain a computer virus.

They will still accept an email with attachment for our OBC credits obviously. It's just that most people don't do it and they probably don't encourage it as you noted.

But think how many times they email us booking/payment confirmation with attachments!

  3. I think it is funny they still use fax machines! Can't we just scan and email things now, take a pic with smartphones etc?

I've scanned and emailed mine for the last 2 years. Just send to my Princess Advisor and she sends to proper dept for crediting back to my cruise account. Works great!! Many printers will also scan.

  4. I see you are from the UK. We have cruised RCI in both Europe and the Caribbean. In neither place would you be out of place in a suit/tux on formal night. However, our experience is that on cruises that originate in the U.S. things are slightly more casual.

This will be our first UK/EU cruise in late June so we'll see. Been on 7cruises originating from US. Men usually dress in tux or dark colored suit and ladies in evening dress or long gown matching their partner. We have seen dining room staff question people not appropriately attired and redirect them to buffet dining room. We did meet one couple who were allowed in because they did not get their luggage so exception made for them.

    Cruise away,
