Am I the only one that thinks $8,000 plus for a cruise for a family of four is outrageous? Just did a quick look for the Caribbean in July 2015! Wow!
Perhaps you book these years in advance so you have time to take out a second mortgage; someone, please enlighten me.
Thank you in advance.

If I were to use these wipes, I would be wearing gloves :)

FLCruiser25 for the information. I am hyperaware of what I touch and where I touch it :) I always pull doors open from the bottoms of the handles rather than the tops (yes, I do over think things thank you very much), etc. I am an avid hand washer and hope this keeps us all healthy in 16 days when we cruise on the Grandeur!
Thanks again!

FLCruiser25:
Can you tell me more about these wipes? Where do you buy them, how often you use them; how did you learn about them? What do you use them on in the room; are they child safe?
Thank you.

I have twin girls; one of whom has been fully potty trained since March and the other of whom just got on board about a month ago, but still has an accident or two. For this reason, I have bought and will carry with me in Bermuda in my beach bag, one of these…
It will give me a little more flexibility when we go on land and we plan to use it on our toilet in our room. I will also be buying my other daughter a pair of children' noise canceling head phones for the potty, because at home she refuses to go if the bathrooms are too loud (usually Target or the mall); and I don't want her holding her urine or BM and not telling me :)
Good luck!
(I will say until you get used to the fully trained aspect, you will miss the ease of having him diapered :))

bring along a lightweight T-shirt to wear while you snorkel as well as making sure that you slather the backs of arms and legs with sunscreen! You will be hypnotized by the undersea world and may forget how long you've been bobbing around with your back, legs and arms exposed. I have done this religiously since finding out the hard way on my first cruise!
I posted this on a different thread but thought is was worth repeating here!

My heart grew heavy when I read this. Tobacco Bay holds a special place in my heart because of the spectacular sea life and ease of off the beach snorkeling. I was looking forward to bringing my daughters to this serene little slice of paradise, but alas, my conscience will not allow me to do that. I have no interest in loud, obnoxious music along with loud, obnoxious beach toys. The new beach toys will destroy the underwater world as I knew it.
Please don't flame me, I really am not interested in hearing about the pursuit of capitalism, etc. and how everyone has to make a living; what about the repercussions all of these things will have on the already struggling coral reefs, fish, balance, etc.

I will be traveling to Bermuda in July with family, which include our 3 year old twin girls. I would like to go to the zoo/museum but do not want to go on the day the ship offers the excursion.
Can someone tell me the best plan as far as transportation.
Thank you.

OP: Could you be more specific about which discounts you received; I am in a similar situation; just booked our cruise, but I was told C&A discount was not combinable with Kids Sail Free or the April Savings which was a $200 discount. I was told by RCI to check with my TA because I should be getting a C&A $200 discount.
Thank you.

has anyone at least seen it; does it look promising? :D

Has anyone seen this and/or had their children use it?
Thank you in advance.

Revision- cruising for first time WITH OUR twins! Not without!

Just bought these suits for my girls; I prefer these instead of having to worry constantly about reapplying sunscreen; also keep their sun hats on.
Hope you have a great cruise making memories with your LO; we cruise in July for the first time with out 3 year old twins!

In addtion to checking Royal's website, you can keep an eye on the weekly sales flyer:

This flyer changes every Thursday afternoon, and covers the sale the following week.

What if the girls were separated accidentally and one got lost; were they instructed on what to do? That is a lot of responsibility for a 12 year old.

I am in the CA part of RCI website and I want to put in criteria for upgrade (I don't want to move off of Deck 8, but would like a GS, if the gods decide to smile their favor upon me) and one of the choices is "I do not wish to be upgraded to an accessible room." Can someone tell me why one would not want to be upgraded to an accessible room?
Thank you in advance.

This is a follow up on the recent threads regarding South Shore Beaches and the US Consulate warning about sewage contamination.

Love this! We will be visiting in July and my 3 year old twins will give this new park a run for its money!
