I'm getting married in a couple of weeks & I've been the one planning the honeymoon. As far as my fiancée knows, all we have planned for the cruise are excursions at St. Thomas (SCUBA diving) & Amber Cove (Dolphin encounter/ocean world). I've also got us spa passes, have a couple nights reserved in the Steak House, & have a couples aroma stone massage planned as surprises.

 

Anyone have some good ideas on what to do in addition to all of this? Should I change one of the steak house nights to the Italian restaurant? I considered doing the Chef's table too, but by the looks of it, neither of our pallets are nearly that...refined :'). Any thoughts on the aroma stone massage vs the other types? She's wanting the cruise to be mostly relaxing, which is why I went lighter on the excursions & heavier on the food/spa stuff.

Seriously?!! Because heaven help her if she has to find something onboard to keep her entertained! It's not like there aren't swimming pools, water slides, deck parties and shows, plus other kid activities available, right? Or, gasp!, what if she had to pick up a book to read?! Is there a reason you're afraid to be the responsible adult and just say "no" to her? Are you afraid she won't love you if you tell her no? Or, if worse-comes-to-worse, you could always tell her that if she wants or 'needs' internet, she'll have to pay for it herself! Now there's a novel idea, eh? Making a kid be responsible for something?

 

But of course, this is all null-and-void now since you've already taken the cruise and no doubt bought her what she wanted. <sigh> Just another perfect example of why kids are being raised to be "entitled" to everything and never made responsible. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:(n)

Really and Who are you to judge how another should enjoy their vacation. Were you appointed the Ambassador of the cruise? "Look everyone...Bow down and listen to me"I have an idea.... mind your own business and enjoy your cruise as you like...Just a thought.

Have you ever seen sharks when cruising to the Caribbean? I mean from the ship not when diving, snorkeling, or on an excursion. I've seen a pod of dolphins and flying fish. What have you seen?

I bring (when I remember) one of those round push on lights and keep it next to the bed so I can pop it on and carry to the bathroom so I can see where I am going.

I always bring a flash light.😆

If muster is outside that’s one thing, but if your muster is in one of the restaurants then being last will put you in the back. If you are first you can walk in and get a seat closest to the front.

Why be last out. You have done musters many times before??

Probably a silly question - Thinking of booking a cruise in october with cancelation insurance. If a hurricane is going to be a big factor (if it’s going to change itenararies, extend trip, etc), will I know ahead of time before taking the cruise?? Recently saw a post where October cruise was extended by many days due to hurricane. I really don’t want to be in this situation because I will have a child at home with grand parents.

 

So, basically, even if it’s only a day or two before, will I know if this is doing to be an issue???? I know this is really a “weather” question, but I’m not studied on weather and hurricanes. I would rather cancel the cruise if this may be an issue.
