Categories is great! I had seen the FTTF offer when I first booked our December 2020 cruise, but hadn't seen it since. I was able to book FTTF this morning using Categories. Now if we actually get to go is the next question. 🤞

My Significant Other is a large guy and there is no way he'll be able to use the chairs with arms on our balcony. Has anyone had any luck getting different chairs on their balcony for the cruise? We called and were told to contact the Guest Access department. They are only open Mon-Fri so we haven't had a chance to call.

I try to only use distilled or if necessary bottled water. I used ship water once and wound up with rust and buildup in the bottom of my humidifier on the CPAP. I can't remember which ship that was though.

Well, you have all convinced me. I haven't had insurance the last 5 cruises, but I think I will pick from one of the choices InsureMyTrip provides. We purchased it for our first 3 or so cruises, but then quit because the travel coverage didn't work for us. And being young, didn't think of all these things that could happen such as broken bones and cuts.

So we are heading out on the Dream in 2 weeks, staying at the Holiday Inn West Bank the night before. It is on the other side if the river but room, parking for 8 days and breakfast was $199. Plus Uber to the pier is only about $9. Will let you know how it was after the cruise.

We are staying at the same hotel in next December, have stayed before. It worked well for us. I am really interested to hear how your experience with Uber goes! I've haven't been brave enough to try it yet.
Galveston hotel parking safety
in Gulf Coast Departures
Posted
Hello Everyone! This is the first time I'm sailing from Galveston and was planning to use a stay, park and cruise hotel to leave my car while on the cruise. But I've heard that there is a lot of vandalism and it isn't safe to leave cars in "unattended" lots. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks!
