You can purchase it all the way up until the actual second day of your sailing. First day if it's a three day cruise.
Is it more if i buy it on board?
-
How close to sailing date is the cutoff?
-
I shudder every time JH says a big announcement is c0ming

They will not be in time order but by activity type

There are ways to get around the policy.
Yes take a GOOD cruise line :D:D

And to add insult to injury, the drink prices on the island are fifty cents to a dollar more per drink then on the ship.

It's a BRILLIANT plan devised by Dewey Cheatham & Howe LOL

Not practical, lot of trouble for guests! Actually I would expect Carnival to treat guests better.
Why? They havent done it since Uncle Bob left. :D:D

Bring a plastic cup with a screw on top like they use for sports drinks. Open the can and pour in you drink, it will keep for awhile and not spill.
Can't ban empty cups. (Yet)

Hmmm. Either we got short-changed, or the cabin steward forgot to leave us the coupons. Maybe I should write a letter to Carnival and complain. Or better yet, I'll contact John Heald. Think I can get a free cruise out of this?
yes on the Staten Island Ferry :D :D

Hi there -
Can someone fill me in on this? We're going to be on the Carnival Splendor this summer and are already looking at booking our next one for 2016. Is there onboard credit if we book a cruise while on a cruise? Do I have to sign up for a credit card or anything? What strings are attached?
Yes but on NCL :D

NCL Gem or Carnival Sunshine
New England Cruise 2016
Both Ocean View Gem 161 sq ft, Sunshine 220 sq ft
Gem $2309.78 with beverage or dinner package
Sunshine $1741.88 with $125 OBC
Seems like a no brainier
but if I book now I can have a choice of cabins
I have a FCC with NCL so no money down $500 down with Carnival
I have read a lot about how crowded the Sunshine is and it worries me some.
Thoughts
If it was oniy a few dollars different i would Go NCL but it is a big difference

It may not be Carnival's fault' date=' but you still don't want a bunch of people going home complaining about missing the ship because they were at a bar 200 feet away.[/quote]
CCL may be part of the problem by keeping on SHIPS time there might be a 1 or 2 hour difference people look at the bar clock and think they have time

I have gotten special permission to be able to run bridge on 89 day cruise sept 22 . This has several segments. I need help in letting the princess bridge world know about this. I have been a bridge director on princess previously for over 70 cruises. This may be the break thru we are looking for . I need help in publicity.
Contact Jennifer Chamberlain at princess and tell her you want to play Bridge

I selected it Is it printed on your card or do you get a sticker onboard?

And who would that be or is it a secret because personally, I simply don't believe you.
If someone told me carnival was a Cesspool i would say "Don't insult Cesspools" :D:D

I'm cruising on the Carnival Victory on September 19th. I've found amazing prices on a non-stop flight direct from (CVG)Cincinnati - (FFL)Fort Lauderdale. FFL is about 39 minutes away from the port. This flight is scheduled to land at FFL at 10:20am. Boarding time is 12:30pm-2:30pm, so in a perfect, non-delayed, no traffic world, this would put us at the port right around or just after 12:00pm. But we all know this isn't a perfect world and things happen. This flight would give us about 3 hours max to allow for delays/traffic.
My question, would you go for this flight or would you pay more than double the price and fly in the night before? I've always tried to arrive the day before my cruise, but these airline tickets are only $93 each!

What is the # on Sunshine?

Do they have the assortment of ice cream on the buffet?
-
Sure they do. Just ask the couple who was blacklisted and couldn't sail Carnival anymore.
They were lucky :D :D LOL

I have a great idea, perhaps your new years resolution should be to take a look within yourself and learn what is missing in your life that leads you to have nothing better to do than criticize what others choose to discuss. Obviously there is considerable interest in new ships and where they are going or the companies would not put out press releases and cruise industry blogs would not devote resources to cover these developments.
