  1. So you are really close to FTL & Mia....why drive to Pt Canaveral?

Sent from my iPad using Forums mobile app

We are driving to port Canaveral because we wanted the better ship. Last year we did the Glory and over all we were not impressed. The 2 years prior to that we were on the breeze and had our best carnival experiences. Soooo in less than a week we will be driving to the carnival magic because it is a sister ship.

  2. Why are there only the old small ships in Florida? Seems like all the bigger ones are in other states and we are left with the left overs.

I agree with you. I live a light jog away from the fort Lauderdale port. I see the ships when I go to pubix! This year my family is driving up to port Canaveral because the lack of ships down south. All the people complaining about Florida having so many ships seem to forget that the Carnival headquarters are in Miami.

  3. Does this apply to anyone? We are traveling with folks in another cabin and they do not have priority boarding.

Everyone is able to board at whatever time they perfer, but those in your party may not get the priority boarding that you will get due to platinum. If they are not brought to the priority boarding line they might take a lot longer to get on (depending on the time of day). The time mentioned for your boarding only relates to when your room will be available.

  4. Wait I'm confused?why buy a white noise machine when you have the sound of the ocean in literally high def!

Depending on where you are in the ship you can have some other sounds. If you are under lido/dining rooms you will hear the sound of carts of silverware. You will also hear people walking down the hall and speaking really loudly.
