We just used ACT to transfer from Whittier to Anchorage Airport a few weeks ago. They were amazing! We left promptly at 8:45 as scheduled.

Thank you all for your input! I greatly appreciate it!

Your cabin is going to be great
The aft cabins have plenty of deck space for four people, with a great view
enjoy your cruise
Thank you! An aft balcony has been a bucket list item for us so I am glad to know we won't need to change!

We are scheduled to sail to Alaska on the Royal Princess in August. The group includes myself, husband, daughter, and son-in-law. The kids are booked in an interior room because it was cheap and they will be with us most of the time. My husband and I are in Cabin D731(Aft D4 category). I am preparing to make our final payment and am now second guessing myself that our balcony will not be large enough for 4 adults. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Can anyone tell me if your regular cell service (US Companies) works well in Alaska?

We were on the April 15th sailing as well. I am so sorry that you and your son got sick. We managed to escape it. I did notice a great effort by the staff to do extra cleaning and such. I noticed at the Windjammer (before the announcement) that they were frequently changing out the utensils.
I too felt very disconnected with the ocean on this sailing. We had an oceanview room but missed being able to sit in a bar or something and enjoy the view. Windjammer was the only place to do that.
We really enjoyed CATS. We did not enjoy the poor audience manners. But I guess when people are on a cruise they feel differently about common courtesy during a show. (And I know this won't change.)
We felt the service was exceptional everywhere we went on the ship. We were looking for the drink cards too.

We just got off the Oasis yesterday. We parked right at the terminal and it cost us $136.00.

We are on the same sailing and I was wondering about this excursion as well. And I get a little nervous about eating and drinking things off the ship.

We used these the last time. They worked great and were cheap. http://a.co/b127Qm6

Every wall is metal. (Except wood trim on vanities or closets.) Magnets make a big difference in taming your bags, hats, lanyards, etc.

Here is the email address for special needs: special_needs@rccl.com I would even put my early dining request in the email if it has anything to do with her needs. (Med Schedules, digestion, etc.) The special needs department is great!
Royal Princess Alaska Trip Report
in Princess Cruises

We sailed the Royal to Alaska on 8/31. We had an aft balcony and it was SO worth the splurge!
This was our first time on Princess. Our 10th overall.
We felt many things were positive.
Things we didn't love--
We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. Being with family and seeing the beautiful scenery was all that mattered in the end.
