They are pretty flexible allowing changes to times as well as days. We just booked a BOGO and a 3 night package as well as Solarium Bistro. Called the C@A rep to make the purchases and all three reservations are in the cruise planner starting day 1 at 8:30. Called back to make sure there would not be a problem and the rep said all reservations are pre booked as a courtesy and just make changes once onboard....She said only the FNDR is locked into the first night.
Has anyone had success with booking the BOGO, and a dining package of 3 or more nights? Just curious since the website does say the BOGO is for the first and second nights; and the dining packages say something like the first reservation is made for the first or second night.

What’s your opinion of the virtual balcony? Would you get that type of room again?
-
I am also curious if Playmakers would be included in the dining packages? Does anyone have a copy of their menu for Independence of the Seas?
-
Does anyone know... Is it possible to purchase the “First Night Done Right”, and a multi-night dining package for the same sailing? i.e. “First Night Done Right” for Day 1, and then a “3 night dining package” to use on 3 other nights? (So, a total of 4 nights in Specialty Dining).

Any insight on #9638?

I usually move it to the end of the sofa, and put it sideways—to act as a side table.

You can always pay a little more for a refundable deposit option.
Has Royal done away with the “Refundable” option for new bookings? I was looking at newly released itineraries, and they automatically come up as “non-refundable deposit” pricing.

Has anyone been able to get Izumi Hibachi included with the Ultimate Dining Package? It seems if they are offering $30 towards “a la carte” venues, that you could just pay the extra $15 to cover the $45 Hibachi charge?

We sail Dec 2018 on the TA. Have the center aft 8600. I'm still expecting a cancellation. [emoji33]

I have 8600 booked for Jan 2019, on Rhapsody. I’m wondering if anyone has stayed in this cabin, and can comment or post a picture of the balcony? I’ve stayed twice in corner afts, but this will be our first center aft.

I booked a J4 cabin for an upcoming cruise. I have $200 OBC. If I change the booking to a J3, which costs a little more money—will I loose my $200 OBC in the process?

Holy crap...... IT WORKED!
Same here...it worked for me, too!

Bionic Bar! It’s so much fun to watch, and even more fun when you are watching your own drink being made. You just can’t beat the novelty of it all!

No. All the cruises are listed but the points from the last cruise on Allure are not added in. The total is correct on the old site.
I’m in the same boat (no pun intended).

Just logged into my account again on RCI, because I like torturing myself, and I find that my upcoming cruise is now linked to my account! All my past cruises are listed. Now all they have to do is get my cruise points straight.
Same situation for me.

I’m unable to link a new reservation, and one of my past cruises is missing (along with the points). Guess I will give it a week or two, and see what happens. I’m hoping they work it out on their end—I really don’t want the hassle of having to call them to fix it.

Typically, what would be considered a good value for a Jr. Suite? Does anyone have a price point that they look at (pp/per day) over the price of a regular Oceanview Balcony?
-
Either will be fine but given a choice I would go with #9344...Sounds like you have had some great options.
No difference in interior size at all.
Any idea why #9626 would cost $60 more than #9344 (total, for 5 nights)?

Ok, I missed out on #9638—So, now I’m looking at #9626 or #9344. I would like a full size sofa, and the biggest room/balcony available. Is there any difference in room/balcony size of the junior suites depending on location? When I watch YouTube videos, some of the junior suites appear to be larger than others. Is it just an optical illusion, or are there certain rooms that are better/bigger than others?

Any opinions on #9638? I’m a little worried about noise from the elevators.

That's $6.95 plus 18% gratuity.
That didn’t really “click” until you pointed this out. We were happy for the value—it’s been a long time since we’ve eaten at one of their land based restaurants. The food was outstanding, and it was a nice change of pace for our cruise. I know we could not have gotten that same meal (at a JR or similar burger joint) on land for less than $25 for the two of us—by the time we paid for food, over-priced sodas, tax, and tip. Not necessarily a place we would visit every cruise...but, for us, it made sense this time around. It is disappointing if the price has gone as much as is reported here—in less than a week!

This past Tuesday, 1/16/18—we were charged $8.20 each for dinner at Johnny Rockets on Harmony. We had Diet Cokes (included with our drink package). Total for two was $16.40.

Someone posted FNDR changed on Oasis- if you want to dine at Chops or 150 you have to pay 50% of the full price?

Escaped the Rubicon
What can you say about the Escape Room? Would you do it again? Do you know if it’s the same as the one on the Independence? What was the price—and, did you feel it was a good value?
