  1. Newbie here with a question....

I did the online check in and put all of our info in, including passport numbers. I printed our boarding passes, but it only gave me two. One is in my husband's name, and one is in my name. My mother and son are in our cabin as well. It does not give me the option to print them each one. Their name is under my husband's in the print option. Is this normal? Will they need their own printed to board?

  2. I always thought Carnival was more the "spring break" clientele. I'm an elementary school teacher and our break is April 3-10th. I'm debating whether to book a trip during this time, but we will see. I have a toddler, so I would rather be surrounded by families than college students lol!

  3. No kiddie pool, but the water is very calm here.

To be honest, BCH is not a resort with all the frills. It's a quiet business hotel with a small pool, nice manicured gardens, hammocks on the lawn etc.

Most people are relaxing, reading or just chilling out.

There are a few pails and shovels for the little ones to use on the beach.

Great thank you! We are just looking for a place close by to just enjoy for a short time, assuming the weather is nice while we are there next weekend! Thank you so much for all of the info! If he wants to play in water, we will use the beach and deal with the cold water lol! Thanks again!

  4. BCH requires a day pass for those who are not overnite guests.

    Day pass runs from 9am - 5pm.

Bar opens at 11am - Kitchen at 11:30am

As for swim diapers, I don't know what the policy is, but I sure wouldn't want to use the pool after your child "dumped" in his diaper. They do not hold in fecal matter. Pool would have to be shut down and shocked. Ruining other peoples enjoyment.

Great thank you for the detailed info! I'm guessing they don't have a kiddie pool/splash area then? Maybe he will just be content in the sand lol

  5. What is the "rules" of the BCH day pass? Do you have to buy them in advance or will you be frowned upon? Also, how early can you arrive and how soon can you start eating/drinking? Our ship docks early (7a) and leaves at 3p (which means we need to be back on by 2-230pm? Do they allow swim diapers in the pool?

Plans have changed and now we are planning to go to BCH and we leave next week. I just want to have everything organized as much as possible before we go. Thanks in advance!

  6. How close are BCH and Junkanoo beach to each other? If we decide to go to the free Junkanoo Beach, is it much further from the cruise port. We have a member of our party whose having mobility issues. As much as I hate to pay for the beach at BCH since were only in port from 7-2:30, if it's closer it may be the deal breaker.

  7. My mom is traveling with us and doesn't do well walking long distances. I know there are different parts of cococay to see and was wondering if they offer any type of assistance to get around such as a wheelchair? She can walk, but not long distances. If they offer something like this, how would I arrange assistance for her?

  8. We purchased them at the desk and I believe they were $65.00 per person which included $40.00 for drinks/food.

Do you know what time they allow guests to enter? I'm wondering if this would be a nicer option than the free beach, but we are only in port for a short time.

  9. I have heard they are owned by someone on the port authority board so they are very much visible in the area. You will see them everwhere!!!

All I can tell you is the three or four times we have used them they have been on time, very pleasant and their vehicles seemed to be in good repair.

I personally have not heard anything bad about them and we have sailed from PC many, many times

Thank you for the detailed info!

  10. We booked a hotel in cocoa beach that fits our needs. We originally booked the hotel because of the shuttle to the port. Well after speaking to the front desk, the shuttle doesn't even board until 11:30 for our cruise. Needless to say, that's later than we planned and are now looking into a taxi or something to get us to the port. The only problem is that we need a car seat for my son (age 1.5). Has anyone had experience with taxi's and car seats, or can give me some advice on my options? I'm not even familiar with taxis in the area. Thank you in advance!

  11.

Thank you. I will look into it. Our hotel isn't in Orlando but I will see what he offers.

It seems people tend to arrive at different times, but I see a few mentioning noon to be a peak boarding time. Hopefully I can just get a private transfer and arrive quickly bit earlier to avoid the headache. Thanks everyone for the feedback and information!
