I bring those small votive lights that you can buy at the Dollar Store. I usually bring two in case one burns out during the trip. They're great in hotel rooms too!

We have previously sailed on Navigator with friends, and had the partition on the balcony removed. It really increased our space, and fun. Will this again be possible on Explorer during our Med cruise in September?

Went on our honeymoon on an NCL ship in November 1978. Can't era all the name of the ship, but we sailed from Miami. Various ports including Cancun, Cozumel, Grand Cayman.
We were hooked and have been on many since-next up is a Med cruise on Regent's new Explorer in Sept 2016.

I've purchased battery operated votives at the the Dollar Tree. Can't remember how many came in the package, but I've always used them. That cabin can be very dark!

I don't know about the rest of you, but I find it harder to maintain my weight loss, than to loose it initially. You really need to push yourself to stay on plan. I managed to keep my weight gain down to 1.5 lbs. on our last cruise on Celebrity Summit in May. Lots of walking, and really checking out the buffet before grabbing a plate.
We're going to the Dominican Republic in November for a week to an all inclusive, almost like being on a ship. And next year we're booked on the new Regent ship, Explorer for a 10 day Med cruise. I keep trying to remind myself of these trips, and all those clothes I have that I'd like to be able to wear. Some days that helps me to get outside and walk.

We just returned from an early August cruise on Navigator. We were in suite 851, eighth deck midship-concierge level.
Location was perfect. Near the stairs/elevators. Very quiet floor as well.
concierge level was definitely worth it. With that level comes the perks of reserving your desired excursions, and Prime reservation earlier than those on any level below that.
My DH is a retired Coast Guard officer. He choose midship just in case the weather got rough. We didn't have any issues.
We were totally spoiled. Wish it was us going again, but alas not yet.
