  1. Many Thanks for all the replies, some of the P&O excursions look very expensive for what is actually on offer so I think we will stay flexible and at look at options when we get ashore. The one we are considering booking is the Pitons in St.Lucia with lunch included, viewing from the Tet Paul nature trail. However it is a 5 and  half hour excursion which seems quite long. Is this something we could do by taxi from the cruise port?

    Regards

  2. Hello

Just booked the Aurora very late for the Northern Lights cruise. We have been offered a balcony cabin either on Lido deck or A (decks 11 & 12) based on the EB class (purple in colour)

However when I look in the brochure the cabins on 11 appear to opposite a weights & measures room, laundrette and the Riviera pool, is that correct?

Also does anyone have experience of the lido deck cabins & know of that's a quite area?

    Many Thanks

  3. Hello

When boarding in Vancouver for Alaskan cruise, does anyone have an idea on how long you should allow to go through US immigration? How long should you allow for boarding for arrival at ship?

Also, same when returning to Vancouver afterwards, do go through Canadian immigration on arrival?

    Many Thanks1

  4. Hi

['m in the same position as you, we go on the Celebrity Infinity in a couple of weeks and there trips look very, very expensive. Any advice on what's available when you get off would be invaluable.

We don't want to pre book we would rather see what the weather is first.

  5. No buses from port, taxi is 15 euros flat fee, we met another couple on the port transfer bus (6 euros I think it was pp) found out they were doing the same us and shared the taxi cost. Not sure about walking, looked a fair distance mostly uphill from the taxi.

Loads of tavis awaiting at the port tourist office when you get off the bus.

    Hope this helps

  6. Hi

We have holidayed in Pisa & Florence before but would really like to go into ( or up) the leaning tower as a shore excursion. Unfortunately Celebrity are not offering that as an option.

Does anyone know of any shore excursions were access to the Leaning Tower is included?

Alternatively, we quite like the sound of Cinque Terre but many forums on here refer to the accessibility issues, is it really that bad?

    Many Thanks

  7. Hi

Sorry for the late thread but my wife and I are getting a cruise early August and have Been to Rome before so was thinking of staying near the cruise port. We were looking at Villa Terennia in Tarquinia to stay but they want €50 to take us to the port. Does anyone have any experience of this town/hotel or recommendations for airport transfers?

    Many thanks
