  1. Hi Everyone

My Husband and I have booked the Far East  cruise on Marbella Discovery. We haven’t been on a Marbella cruise before. I have taken a chance and booked an outside cabin deck 2/3. Would you advise me to pay the supplement and get a cabin guaranteed. If so what deck would be best and as I would prefer a pictures window not a porthole. Feeling a little bit anxious as worried about feeling a bit claustrophobic if just porthole.  Price hike was just a bit out of our reach for balcony😕

    Thank you for your help.

  2. Hi so having just received notification of our January Dubai Cruise by P and O cancelled, I am in two minds about what to do next. There are many Dubai- India cruises by other cruise lines,(will not  be not considering MSC). Can’t find any other cruise that appeals in January and won’t look at Oceana alternatives as it was the Itinerary that really appealed. Question is do we try for another cruise line with the itinerary that we want  around Dubai or forego a cruise altogether.

  3. I find it's often best to go ahead and book now. Then, once onboard your cruise, you can "reshop" the cruise. See if the onboard offer is better, or will include whatever promotions were in effect when you originally booked. It may be better to cancel the existing reservation and make a new one. Or just keep the one you have.

    Thanks Shmoo

  4. Hi Everyone

My husband and I are going on a Celebrity cruise in September. I have seen another cruise to Asia with Celebrity in January. My question is this, will we get a better deal booking with Celebrity whilst onboard in september, or should we book ourselves through TA. At the moment Celebrity are offering inclusive Classic drinks package and on board spend.but has to be booked by end of August to get the offer. Are we likely to do better on board.

Thanks for taking the time to read and any replies will be gratefully received.

  5. We took the Princess option/version last year to Rome from the port.

They were older cars and for Princess passengers only.

Other than the cars being older they were comfortable and it took about an hour to get to St Pietro station.

    I think it was $99pp.

There is also regular train service but we wanted a gty that we would be back by the time the ship sailed.

Thanks Keith it might be a fun thing to do.

  6. Hi Everyone. I am looking at going to Rome from Cittavechia. My Husband and I are travelling on Celebrity Eclipse 3rd September. Can't remember which day we arrive in Cittavechia though. One option from Celebrity is to go via a Vintage Train. Has anyone used this and was it good.

I know other cruise ships offer this excursion so am asking this as a general question.

I know there are commuter Trains which go frequently but quite fancied this if it is good.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and respond

    Kind Regards
