Celebrity and Royal are the same company.
Celebrity in owned by Royal but that doesn't mean they have immediate access to Royal passengers info.

It's usually 90 days out but I have a cruise the end of September and was able to book shows. You get an email after you book them but that's all. There is a calendar with your cruise reservation that shows what you have booked.

In the process of booking a cruise on Harmony for November 24th. TA said our only dining option is traditional 8:00pm. Royal said MTD is closed. It is still over 7 months until the cruise. How can MTD be closed? Is this normal, do I have any other options? Our main concern is missing the night shows as dinner can take up to 2 hrs. Please help! We love the eating in the main dining room!
They usually have separate shows for early and late dining.

We have BOGO as Diamond plus members. They have let us use ours on the first and second night
The BOGO for Diamond Plus can only be reserved on the ship after you board.

When I was on Oasis in December they didn't require us to fill out the customs form. Just had to show our passport going through customs and immigration. Not sure if it's the same on Alure.

Cruisecritiquer, I'm jumping in here to defend your love of water slides. We just got off of the Harmony, and those water slides did not compare favorably with NCL's or Carnival's water slides. The Harmony's slides were SLOW, and required lots of manual effort to just get down to the bottom. RC still has some work in this area.
I was on Symphony in December and they have a wet water slide and it was fast.

15 minutes before the show they start giving out the seats to people that don't have reservations.

What is wrong with sitting with other people?
You never know if they are going to be on time or late. Usually we have a couple that can't tell time.

You will not be able to or want to wear glasses on the flow rider. You will wipe out and probably ruin your glasses.

It's two bottles per stateroom. It doesn't matter if there is just one adult. Just be sure that you carry it on in your carry on bag. If you put it in your luggage they will hold your luggage on deck 2 and have you come there to retrieve your luggage. Don't even put a bottle of water in your checked luggage because they will hold it until they can inspect it in front of you. It should be in your cruise contract that you can bring two bottles of wine per stateroom.

I was on Oasis in December and there was something black in the toilet bowl water.

It is silly to think we should have to tip someone who fills the food in the buffet or the other jobs in WJ that we don't see.
It's the same as a waiter bringing the food to your table. You're not going into the kitchen to get the food. Most people I know tip something even at a buffet.

At the buffet you serve yourself. That is one of my things about the auto tipping. I get my own food, I get my own drinks, I'm not tipping anyone for that. Why should I? I'm not on the ship to pay the salaries of the people hired to prepare the food and maintain the buffet. Tips are for services rendered to me. That is my opinion.
The waiters still have to bus the tables. I'm sure you aren't going to take your dirty dishes to the kitchen and clean your table. There are a lot of jobs in WJ that you don't see. Somebody has to keep the food in the buffet filled.

Happy hour in DL is 3 and a half hours each night of the cruise including the first night. Either 4:30 to 8:00 or 5:09 to 8:30. Just did Oasis and it hasn't changed.

How much do the Wow bands cost?

I booked gty on Symphony last December and received my room number about a week or two before the cruise. I have a gty on Oasis for April and probably won't get my room for a while.

Don't have the recipe for RCL crab cakes but if you ever had Maryland crab cakes in Maryland, you would never say RCL's are tasty. I didn't like them at all.

Guaranteed cabin and rci have downgraded us
in Royal Caribbean International
Posted
A few years ago we booked a guaranteed ocean view and got downgraded to an inside cabin. They refunded us the price we paid for guaranteed ocean view minus taxes and port fees.
