For months I don’t hear squat from Princess about refunding two cancelled cruises and my TA gets a different refund story Each time she contacts them on my behalf. Finally get the refunds and what happens?

Daily Princess Emails trying to get me to book another cruise.  To add insult to injury, I’m advised that the FCCs expired in 90 days. 
 

so..... let’s see what they offer a few days before these FCCs expire. 

Finally made whole - FCC posted on both Diane’s and my account for May and Oct cruises. Most frustrating financial mess I’ve ever been involved with - Princess kept changing what they were going to do (credit card refundS, future cruise credits and or shipboard credits).  Mid-July, got two credit card refunds and this week the FCC. 
 

Everything through my TA. Nothing written nor in emails. Now Princess is sending us emails with cruise offers. It will be a while before we book with them. Not til they get their act together and learn to value their loyal customer. “Elite” meant nothing when it came to this fiasco.

it’s almost funny if it weren’t for all the laid off workers, hopeless call center reps and these of us still waiting for refunds, fcc and shipboard credits. 

Are you actually “getting” email confirmations from Princess? 

Oh happy day! In late June, we received a credit card refund for the cruise and this weekend a refund for the “non-refundable” flights (thankfully booked via Princess EZAir).  We are still awaiting an additional $400 (taxes/port fees/deposits) as well as promised future shipboard credit.  But so far so good. 

We cancelled, through our TA, a May Scandinavian cruise in April prior to Princess revised Cancellation Policy. She went back and forth with various Princess reps and supervisors getting a different story - FCC, air credit and/or credit card refund. Everything was by word-of-mouth - no email confirmations on what was told. 
 

it has been a frustration experience. So much so, that we cancelled an October 14 day New Zealand cruise. 
 

Kudos to my TA for her diligence.

Doubt it will - starts and ends in Sidney.

Patiently waiting for refund on cancel March Princess cruise. Have New Zealand book for oct.

Anyone else concerned about the visiting these port so soon after the Hurricane paid its visit?

A call to Princess's 800 number soon after the hurricane indicated that they had made no plans to change the itinerary. Late week, my travel agent advised us that Princess was trying to find alternate ports to visit. Yet yesterday, I got an email urging us to book excursions in scheduled ports.

I for one am not looking forward to visiting these ports to view the desolation left by this natural disaster.
