Does carnival still have a guest talent show?
If they do, does everybody sing; does anyone dance?

Does anyone know what time the Port of New Orleans cruise terminal opens for check-in?
I would like to know as well. In the past, if memory serves, I believe I've had a 10:00 check in time but all that was available for my next cruise was 11:30 and I picked that as soon as it became available.

So I'm sitting here eating supper (stir fry; I try to duplicate the Mongolian wok onboard... I get close enough!), anticipating my next cruise in a few-ish weeks, and trying to wile away the hours on cc and up pops a wildra review! Yay!

That does help!
Thank you!

Has anyone used eden rock dive center and know how to get in touch with them? I have a few questions for them. I've tried emailing them using the email address on their website and I've also sent them a message on fb messenger all to no avail.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

I hate that dancing in the streets wasn't listed but flick was pretty good, too.
Thank you!

I haven't been on carnival dream since 2015 and I really really really enjoyed dancing in the streets. Are they still performing that show?
Thanks in advance for any help!

I would like to know as well!

It says it's non-refundable. If I purchase it prior to the cruise and then had to cancel the cruise for some reason, is it refundable then?
If like to know the answer to this, as well.

I would like to know, as well. I was thinking about booking the first cruise out of drydock but ultimately decided not to. I was worried about being disturbed by ongoing updates and/or some things not being open.

If I redeem $x in cash back bonus with my discover card, discover will double it but there are stipulations. For example, if I book a 6 night or longer cruise in a balcony room I can redeem $80 and discover will give me $160 as long as I book through their travel agency and it only goes towards the fare after the initial deposit, not onboard credit. I realize I'm making it sound complicated but it's really not. It's a great money saver!

Here's what Carnival said when I inquired about FTTF for our Jan 2017 cruise.
I checked with our Pre Sales Team and they advise me that the tour allocations for all ships and sailing dates in 2017 (including the tickets for the Faster to the Fun program) will be loaded into the Pre Sales system during May and June. Please keep an eye on the website from this time onwards and you should be able to secure the passes that you need.
I hope this clarifies the situation. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any further queries.
Kind Regards,

Thank you so much! I'll be sure to look for it then!

I usually plan everything waaay in advance. I just booked for 2017 and was hoping to lock down a FTTF but there are no excursions listed at all. Am I too early? When does carnival publish FTTF?
TIA flew any help!

I feel the same way you do. My husband and I are taking am anniversary cruise soon and we would also like a two top. Even if it is close to other people it's still not technically the same table. I also dislike ATD as I find the service isn't quite as streamlined as set dining. My plans are to email the maitre d' a week-ish before boarding and to check out our table immediately upon embarkation.
Good luck!

That's correct. I always put mine on airplane mode.

Canon and Nikon have the best lenses.
Go pros seems to be a popular.

And I have to say that I sure as heck would not tip at the cost of that class! These folks are salaried and, if I am correct, not even part of Carnival. Aren't they part of the Spa folks?
The tip was automatically added on and while I didn't care for the guy(see above post) I was reminded of a LIVE song(from the '90's I believe); "everybody's good enough for some change..."
-
Well, that's pretty good! You can't hide when you're the only one in class! I'm sure you got an awesome workout. :)
I'm surprised they don't make the price a little more reasonable, so they get a few more people to make it a fun class (without making it so that a million people show up). Maybe $10 or even $15.

The yoga class is $12 so I guess the spa figures that they can get twice as much flour the "hardcore" class. I only went once for a couple reasons:
1. I agree that the cost is a bit ridiculous.
2. I didn't like the guy running the class(I'm generally the type of person that gets along with everybody). He wasn't rude to me or anything like that;I could just tell that he was a cocky jerk(my table mate at dinner felt the same way. He was the reason neither one of us went back) The workout lasted about 25 minutes and I was in there about an hour... he spent the rest of the time talking about how great he was and how he would rather be on a RC ship.

$24 ... For ONE class? Yikes!!

Yeah but I was the only one who showed up so it was akin to a personal trainer session which cost twice as much I think.

I took it on carnival elation this past may; it was $24 plus tip so $26 and some change.
As far as the difficulty level, it was just a bit easier than a Jillian Michaels DVD workout. If you don't workout on a regular basis you'd probably be sore the next morning.
