  1. Does anyone know what time the Port of New Orleans cruise terminal opens for check-in?

I would like to know as well. In the past, if memory serves, I believe I've had a 10:00 check in time but all that was available for my next cruise was 11:30 and I picked that as soon as it became available.

  2. Has anyone used eden rock dive center and know how to get in touch with them? I have a few questions for them. I've tried emailing them using the email address on their website and I've also sent them a message on fb messenger all to no avail.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

  3. If I redeem $x in cash back bonus with my discover card, discover will double it but there are stipulations. For example, if I book a 6 night or longer cruise in a balcony room I can redeem $80 and discover will give me $160 as long as I book through their travel agency and it only goes towards the fare after the initial deposit, not onboard credit. I realize I'm making it sound complicated but it's really not. It's a great money saver!

  4. Here's what Carnival said when I inquired about FTTF for our Jan 2017 cruise.

I checked with our Pre Sales Team and they advise me that the tour allocations for all ships and sailing dates in 2017 (including the tickets for the Faster to the Fun program) will be loaded into the Pre Sales system during May and June. Please keep an eye on the website from this time onwards and you should be able to secure the passes that you need.

I hope this clarifies the situation. Please do not hesitate to contact us again if you have any further queries.

    Kind Regards,

Thank you so much! I'll be sure to look for it then!

  5. I feel the same way you do. My husband and I are taking am anniversary cruise soon and we would also like a two top. Even if it is close to other people it's still not technically the same table. I also dislike ATD as I find the service isn't quite as streamlined as set dining. My plans are to email the maitre d' a week-ish before boarding and to check out our table immediately upon embarkation.

    Good luck!

  6. And I have to say that I sure as heck would not tip at the cost of that class! These folks are salaried and, if I am correct, not even part of Carnival. Aren't they part of the Spa folks?

The tip was automatically added on and while I didn't care for the guy(see above post) I was reminded of a LIVE song(from the '90's I believe); "everybody's good enough for some change..."

  7. Well, that's pretty good! You can't hide when you're the only one in class! I'm sure you got an awesome workout. :)

I'm surprised they don't make the price a little more reasonable, so they get a few more people to make it a fun class (without making it so that a million people show up). Maybe $10 or even $15.

The yoga class is $12 so I guess the spa figures that they can get twice as much flour the "hardcore" class. I only went once for a couple reasons:

    1. I agree that the cost is a bit ridiculous.

    2. I didn't like the guy running the class(I'm generally the type of person that gets along with everybody). He wasn't rude to me or anything like that;I could just tell that he was a cocky jerk(my table mate at dinner felt the same way. He was the reason neither one of us went back) The workout lasted about 25 minutes and I was in there about an hour... he spent the rest of the time talking about how great he was and how he would rather be on a RC ship.
