Local bus to get to Mambo? TY

You were comfortable on the beach where they took you? Im not a fan of the beaches there due to the push of drugs and how they hound you selling stuff.

knowjamaicatours.com as mentioned above. Just did this last week and it was wonderful! There were only three of us with Javia Shaw but it was a very busy day in Jamaica with 8 ships in port.

 

We went the DRF and climbed it independently, no need to bother to wait for a guide to do the "human-chain" thing.

 

We then went to the Blue Hole where Jason was our guide. My timid 11 year-old did every jump largely I believe because the guide was so positive and fun. He carried my glasses, and took tons of photos and videos with my camera. Couldn't be happier with how it went.

 

Javia then took us to the Ocho Rios Jerk Centre and bought us some jerk chicken with festivals (yum!) and a pop. I hadn't even realized lunch was included in the price!

 

We then went to the beach at Bamboo Blu club for about an hour where the water was beautiful, clear and calm.

 

We got back to the ship well before all aboard. Probably the best excursion of our cruise. Highly recommend!

Can you tell me how much this was?

I have 3 adults and 3 large pieces of luggage. Im thinking we will fit in 1 taxi? My son doesn't usually come with us so Im always questioning things when he does haha

Very few hotels have free port shuttles but a quite a few have free airport shuttles. I'm not sure why you would want to plan your hotel around a shuttle though. You have to go on their schedule and there are inexpensive options if you stay near the port and airport. $7-10 pp is the typical hotel shuttle fee if it isn't free.

 

Taxi to ES is about $15 and to port is about $10...that's for the whole carload. You can also use Uber app for a ride for even less than that. So if you stay at a hotel on SE 17th St, just budget an extra $25 and you'll have transportation on your schedule.

Contemplating switching hotels after finding out no shuttle and 9.00 per person to use concierge transport from airport to hotel. Im shocked by this..

Can anyone please give me recommendations for hotels with shuttle from airport? We get in afternoon day before cruise so don't need to keep busy for the day. Just some food. Last time we were in PE w stayed at Fairfield looking back. But huge group then.

Stayed at Embassy Suites last Jan and there was no airport shuttle. There was a for fee port shuttle.

Do you recall how much a cab is from airport to Embassy? and cab to port please?

Im booked through Alamo for Feb from MCO to Cape Canaveral. Any problems recently with them? Got a good rate.

I just saw something about Avis cruise transfer spot? Any one have any idea why this is a different location than their rental spot? It would seem just a drop off location for rentals for cruisers? Or am I misunderstanding it? TY!

Good Morning, I haven't booked a hotel yet since I am still trying to figure out this whole cruise package/shuttle thing to the port.

Can someone please tell me what a taxi costs approx from the Hilton Garden or Aloft maybe?

Why is it so expensive for these cruise packages? I have cruised out of so many ports and this one seems to be the most confusing for me.. lol short ride though. haha
