  1. I have enjoyed every word and every picture in your journal/trip report. I pretended I was with you as you poked around shops, saw historic places, and had interesting experiences. It gave me pleasure, and I thank you for sharing your trip.

  2. I’m looking forward to spending a summer traveling Princess Lands with you (vicariously, not literally). Your words and photos make your reports a pleasure. Plus I now feel in the know since I understand your reference to keeping your swimsuit on in the spa.

She was unhurt (we think so far), but the overall frustration of the day got to her at this point. I think people saw her reaction and ran over to check on her, see if she was all right. She just hit a slick spot- they’re everywhere - and went down. I think between the sunburn, tired legs, and the fall, she’s gonna have a triple threat of pain tomorrow….

undaunted, we had no choice but to soldier on. The 9pm deadline had now passed, but she was back on her feet and the fight continued

Oh gosh! How awful B fell but good she doesn’t seem hurt. Maybe some bruises tomorrow. However @HelloItsMeB What a great dress! Hope the fall didn’t ruin it.

Is the road up to Oia only one way now? I know it’s been a long time since I was there (2010), but we were on the bus both ways.

We’ve had that convo. She’s a Diet Coke girl through and through. She’s OKAY with Zero, but wants that diet

I’m a Diet Coke gal also. Don’t think I’ve ever been able to get actual Diet Come in Europe, it’s always been Coke Light. Close to Diet coke but not quite. And not Coke Zero. Don’t care for that. But I don’t if know if being on a ship is different from what Coke is served on land.

  5. Glad you made your connection and that your luggage arrived! My experience through CDG in November was different. Although my TA kept insisting an hour and 20 minutes was enough for my connection at CDG, it wasn’t. Walk through terminal E, walk through terminal F, go through security, go through passport control (all long lines), get on a bus to terminal G, get to our gate—we missed it. CDG is chaos. We were supposed to arrive in Porto, Portugal at 10:30 am. By the time another connection was added at Lisbon, we arrived at 7:30 that evening. Without our luggage. Fortunately we had our carryons.

I couldn’t figure out how to paste the paragraph I wanted, so now it looks as though I’m quoting you saying nothing. I am now wondering what the correct way to hold a wine glass is. I thought you would show a picture, but no. I hate to go out in the world showing my ignorance at how to hold a wine glass. Also, I think it would be awesome if the Cetto folks had a wine bottle with a purple label and skull like the big wine bottle you posed by.
