So excited, I'm on it this weekend. All of these good reviews even makes me more excited. I will post a review of my time. Looks like beautiful weather sailing out of Miami this weekend.

It appears that The Getaway is docked at the pier this morniing. Just checked out the web cam, so I think we're good from here on out.

The Getaway is still supposed to dock Tuesday with The Gem tendering, I guess we'll see. I am on The Getaway next week, hope we don't tender.

I want to see it too because I am on that May 2nd cruise, I guess everything will be the same except the day of Tortola

I don't think the Tortola Itenerary starts until the May 2nd cruise, so there won't be a daily showing that yet 😊

15 days till we Getaway

I was wondering if anyone knew for sure whether or not The Getaway will be able to dock at the pier on May 2nd. I know they are supposed to be able to, but some confirmation would be nice to know.

Sounds like your having a great time on your vacation. Just curious, we will be aboard in about three weeks, how is the vibe on the ship? Hoping that The Getaway is a fun ship. Enjoy!

39 days and counting, the days seem to be getting longer, lol.

We are looking forward to an adult beverage or two, but doing that on that beach with that water. Can't wait! The water looks almost unreal. The beach is beautiful, can't imagine wanting to be anywhere else, lol.

I might be mistaken, but I recall someone on the boards mentioning that some of the May cruises this dinner and show will be shut down. If that's true, the people sailing on these dates it won't affect. I will be one of those unfortunate people 😔

Thank you very much for you're in-depth review, well of everything. The timing was perfect as we sail out at the beginning of May. Loved reading every post. Also considering booking The Getaway again next year as it will have a different itenerary. They really should pay you 😜

Thank you for posting about your trip. Love gathering as much info on The Getaway as possible. 40 days and counting!

Our excursion is Escape to Jost Van Dyke, and there will be about 15 of our group going together. The more the merrier. I also hope we don't have to swim too far because I would like to bring my camera to the beach.

We're going to White Bay and the excursion is through NCL. We'll be there on a Tuesday, I hope it won't be to packed.

We booked a catemeran ride to Jost Van Dyke, since this will be the first sailing to Tortola we are curious to hear from anybody that has done this. Hoping this was a good choice. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I am also booked on that sailing. Last night I booked an excursion in Tortola and it is for the 5th. It appears it maybe was just a mess up on that particular email that was sent out.

I know the op was talking about the Gem, but does anyone have this info about the Getaway. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't seen much this board about the Getaway. Anyone know much about deck 10?
