I always enjoy the drinks packages almost as much for the juices and specialty coffees, as I do for the alcohol. I try to maintain a modicum of health on cruises, so you'll typically find me constructing some sort of workout for myself in the gym or on the top deck during the day.
When I really start hitting the booze, assuming I have a beverage package, is right before dinner. I will hit a bar and order as many Aperol and sodas, Campari and sodas as I can drink. These are usually not terribly strong drinks, so I'm not that buzzed at this point...they are refreshing herbal apertifs. At dinner, 1-2 glasses of wine. After, if I go to the show or hang out at a bar, I'll order something a bit more potent and go slower, taper off.

Omelet, as long as you can get them to make it with real eggs instead of that weird yellow mixture the cruise lines often use. They will do this for you at the omelet station if you specifically ask.
Why the excitement over lobster

I like lobster night, even living in Florida, for the simple reason that it's typically the best food I will be served in the main dining room over the whole cruise. Rarely am I impressed by anything served in the main dining room....and the lobster, even if bulk-frozen, is still pretty hard to screw up.
