PA newbie

We sailed on Island Princess to Panama Canal and Alaska. I liked the ship. Just the right size, amenities, services, and entertainment.

Four of us were on a Croisi cruise, the Beethoven from Strausbourg to Vienna. There were 156 on board, 6 from USA. Over 100 were French, the remainder were UK and Australia.

I liked the itinerary and drinks being included. I did not like the limited menu and uncomfortable, narrow beds. The main crew members spoke French and English, some waiters did not speak English.

From some of my research I might say to check CroisiEurope. They seem to have quite a few cruises that are rather short in duration. Their itinerary options seem to offer a nice variety of places where their ships.

I'm scheduled to travel to Europe next May as well. I'm thinking about safety but I assume we'll stay 2 steps ahead of any threats.

Four of us booked Croisi for May, 2015. Advertised as 9'days, but we know how they count. Leaves from Strausbourg, ends in Vienna. First river cruise, looking forward to a new experience.

Hoped someone along the way did them. I did speak to them. They have office in New York and crew is English speaking. That's what they said but who knows.

Looking at May, 2015 cruise with Croisi from Strasbourg to Vienna. They advertise as more ships on European rivers than anyone, but they seem to be flying under the radar compared to the more popular lines. Even here, there's little posted in reviews by guests or Cruise Critic. I would appeciate some knowledgeable information if there's any out there. Thanks so much.
