I'm an avid NCL cruiser so can only compare to what I've experience and have never experienced this... we did purchase FTTF and boarding was a breeze and rooms were ready at 11:45. I ate at Seafood Shack and it was wonderful. Don't do burgers and would normally eat at MDR on embarkation day for an nice quiet sit down lunch. Not a Buffet fan - knew dining would be limited on the Victory with no speciality restaurants. But I did not expect the lines. I wasn't hungry or looking for food. I simply find them offensive for their brand. I think paying customers deserve better.

International waters........but still a bad idea.
Why a bad idea?
If you are legally an adult at 18, why not be able to drink?
You can legally get married at 18.
You can legally vote at 18.
You can legally join the Armed forces at 18.

To YOU SJ or GT are throw away ports, not everyone would agree.
I’d rather go to SJ than ST.

If all of the bookings are linked, carnival will take care of sitting together. Most likely two 10 tops and one 2 top.
Or three 8 tops.
If you have YTD, god help ya.

After reading posts on here about lost luggage I am really beginning to get paranoid. We leave for our first cruise tomorrow and I’m considering carrying on our luggage instead of checking it in. Both of us will have one 26” spinner and a small bag. In order to make everything fit our spinners will be just under the 50lb mark. Will we look completely ridiculous carrying it on ourselves? Do others do this? Lol :)
Do you realize that the people that post here are a small percentage of the cruising public?

It becomes my business when you hose crew. It has been stated over and over that the grats collected always go to the intended crew. Again, how do you determine the appropriate amount? Typical dinner with a starter, entree, sides, coffee, dessert landside would cost about $40 each...so you are claiming you leave in cash at least $8 each person every MDR meal? Leaving at Lido at least $3 for breakfast and $4 for lunch? And of course, sitting there until each server gets to your table to get their share? Finding both your room steward and assistant room steward twice a day and handing them each $2 per person per service...
Riiighhttt....and they let me drive the ship.
Actually, unless you are one of the crew, it still isn’t any of your business.
Just saying...

Why do they need to make this “right?”
All casinos have on machines “malfunctions voids all pays and plays.”
Second, do you think any cruise line really cares or pays attention to posts here?
Third, why do you care?

Where can I watch the video?
Was he drunk or fooling around?
What morbid reason would you want to watch the video for?

The Panorama should be launching sometime in mid-2019. I'm not positive but I highly doubt that it's first passenger voyage will be a 3 day Baja itinerary. They just might be waiting till she's further along in her build to list any shakedown cruises. The shakedown cruises are general within "arm's reach" of the shipyard and Fincantieri is located in Italy.
They mentioned (John H) that the TA for the Panorama would be like a 20 day one straight to Long Beach and no passengers.
The didn’t specifically state no med cruises, but my understanding is it was going to LB straight from the builders.

do we need it on the pride????
No. They only started this on the Dream class.
So, yes for Dream, Magic, Breeze.
Yes for Vista, Horizon, and soon to be Panorama.
No on all other ships in the fleet.

No, neither the Conquest nor her sister ships have this feature

If you are speaking of the Blue Java Cafe (I think that is the name), everything is ala Carter pricing. They are kinda like a Starbucks. Coffe, lattes, teas, milkshakes, desserts, etc.

I just read that there are no flip flops or basketball shorts allowed in the MDR. My son only wears basketball shorts and I think flip flops with a sun dress looks better than sneakers lol, how strict are they with this?
How can anybody think flip flops look better than sneakers?

I seriously doubt they will be adding rooms to the Triumph.
The only times they have added rooms were balcony rooms to a Fantasy class ship and the complete overhauling the Destiny (making the Sunshine).

Totally forgot about that string trio that performed in the Artists' Lobby - "Allure Strings" was their name and they really were outstanding.
I agree, the String Trio was awesome.

For the premier cruses, there is a limit of 100 cabins for the offer.
We’ve been on 4 of them and they are awesome.
Not really that much more crowded plus they have events only for the premier cruisers.
And free drinks in the casino!!!!
