  1. I'm an avid NCL cruiser so can only compare to what I've experience and have never experienced this... we did purchase FTTF and boarding was a breeze and rooms were ready at 11:45. I ate at Seafood Shack and it was wonderful. Don't do burgers and would normally eat at MDR on embarkation day for an nice quiet sit down lunch. Not a Buffet fan - knew dining would be limited on the Victory with no speciality restaurants. But I did not expect the lines. I wasn't hungry or looking for food. I simply find them offensive for their brand. I think paying customers deserve better.

  2. After reading posts on here about lost luggage I am really beginning to get paranoid. We leave for our first cruise tomorrow and I’m considering carrying on our luggage instead of checking it in. Both of us will have one 26” spinner and a small bag. In order to make everything fit our spinners will be just under the 50lb mark. Will we look completely ridiculous carrying it on ourselves? Do others do this? Lol :)

Do you realize that the people that post here are a small percentage of the cruising public?

  3. It becomes my business when you hose crew. It has been stated over and over that the grats collected always go to the intended crew. Again, how do you determine the appropriate amount? Typical dinner with a starter, entree, sides, coffee, dessert landside would cost about $40 each...so you are claiming you leave in cash at least $8 each person every MDR meal? Leaving at Lido at least $3 for breakfast and $4 for lunch? And of course, sitting there until each server gets to your table to get their share? Finding both your room steward and assistant room steward twice a day and handing them each $2 per person per service...

Riiighhttt....and they let me drive the ship.

Actually, unless you are one of the crew, it still isn’t any of your business.

    Just saying...

  4. The Panorama should be launching sometime in mid-2019. I'm not positive but I highly doubt that it's first passenger voyage will be a 3 day Baja itinerary. They just might be waiting till she's further along in her build to list any shakedown cruises. The shakedown cruises are general within "arm's reach" of the shipyard and Fincantieri is located in Italy.

They mentioned (John H) that the TA for the Panorama would be like a 20 day one straight to Long Beach and no passengers.

The didn’t specifically state no med cruises, but my understanding is it was going to LB straight from the builders.

  5. For the premier cruses, there is a limit of 100 cabins for the offer.

We’ve been on 4 of them and they are awesome.

Not really that much more crowded plus they have events only for the premier cruisers.

And free drinks in the casino!!!!
