  1. Can't find the roll call for this cruise but wanted to let everyone who was on it that a fellow passenger just tested positive for Covid-19..a male age 49 has tested positive for the virus . He resides in Columbus, Ohio...if you or anyone you know was on this cruise please be aware you MAY have been exposed 😞

  2. We are traveling with our grown daughter and her friend. I am doing the "paperwork" online. Can I put their onboard charge account as cash and let them each change it to their individual credit cards as the pier? Will this be a hassle for them or should I just get their individual credit card information now?  Thanks..

  3. We are doing a B2B and I couldn't book the same cabin for all weeks so we must change. Does anyone know how this is handled? Do I have to pack like I was leaving the ship or can I just schlep my stuff from one cabin to the other ( luckily it's on the same floor just the other side of the ship)...how will I know when the cabin is clean so I can move my stuff? Do the stewards coordinate this kind of move? Any input would be wonderful...thanks..

  4. I am curious as to how the "steakhouse" Diamond perk is handled. I know that both DH and I are platinum and we get one plate of "goodies" each cruise...We do, however, each get the free laundry perk. We will both be turning Diamond on our next cruise. Will they give each of us a Stakehouse perk or will it only be one? Do we have to use that on that particular cruise or can it be saved for a special occasion..ie Anniversary cruise? Any input is helpful...thanks...

  5. I've a couple of different questions. We are doing the 14day Journey cruise on the Miracle. Does anyone know if we will get only 1 bottle of complimentary water for the 14 day cruise or will they give us 2? I'm trying to decide if I need to order bottled water...we can make do if there are 2 bottles otherwise I'll order some....also,,,does anyone know exactly where the self serve laundry is on deck 7? I've had conflicting info....thanks much for any help you can give..

  6. Has anyone purchased one of the Chill Out Beer or Soda package sold on the Carnival website. It shows the cooler with lots of ice in it and I just want to know if it is leak proof or will it make a mess...Don't want to purchase if it will be more of a hassle to keep our in room beverages cold in it...I just find the fridge not very cold....TIA

  7. we ordered $2200 worth of gift cards to pay off our B2B2B a couple of weeks ago....there were 2 delays...1) I ad to call Verizon and verify that I ordered 4 $500 and 2 $100 GC's and 2) my credit card wanted verification from me that this was a legit transaction..if I remember correctly all and all it took about a week and a half....oh and they were sent by UPS and I needed to sign for receipt..

  8. Hoping I can get some info from someone who has recently done laundry on the Conquest. We are going to be on the ship for 22 days and I know that I can use Carnival's free laundry for some of our things....I don't want to ruin DH's dinner shirts or pants or my dinner clothes so plan on doing those myself. Does the Conquest require quarters or has it been converted to S&S? I've gleaned some good advice on the boards but wonder if I should plan on doing laundry while we are back in Ft. Lauderdale each segment ( we are doing B2B2B) since I don't think the laundry rooms would be that busy...any input you have for me would be great....thanks much

    thanks so much for an awesome review. we will be doing this itinerary in October and its so much fun to look at the pictures and dream the next 6 months away.... you are so blessed to be able to cruise with parents....I have one quick question please...the yellow float mats..are they able to be rented or are they just for the cabanas? A while back John Heald mentioned that he would be doing special things for anyone celebrating their 80th birthday on a cruise, or WW vets or people celebrating their 50th anniversary ( we fall in the later category)...Just wondered if anyone has had the pleasure of receiving this recognition and what exactly did he do?
