I booked the regular Sea class Jr Suite on Icon (not the Sky Jr Suite). My travel agent said that sea class does not have priority boarding like sky class but when I look at the RC FAQ on their website it states that Sea class has priority boarding. 

Does anyone know the correct answer.

I just booked a Jr Suite on Icon and I see that Coastal Kitchen is available for dinner only for Jr Suites if there is availability. Has anyone that stayed in a Jr Suite able to get into CK for dinner on Icon? We are purchasing the 3-night specialty dining, so we only need 4 nights in CK.

Also, how do you make reservations? I'm assuming you would need to wait until you get onboard.

My wife and I want to book Icon with an Ocean view balcony room. What are the odds of getting a room with an obstructed view or a room in the family neighborhood if we go with the cheaper guaranteed price? We are older and would prefer not to be in the family neighborhood. Thanks!

Will RC allow you to transfer a deposit from one cruise to another if you decide you want to switch cruises before final payment is due. 

We need a hotel for 1 night in October prior to our cruise. Jersey City seems a better area (views and restaurants) but hotels are more expensive than the ones bunched together in Elizabeth (Residence Inn and Marriott Courtyard)

Do you think it's worth the extra $$. We will get there in the afternoon and will need somewhere for dinner and a few cocktails.

I booked this hotel for our January cruise. Its very close to the port and I was wondering if they have a shuttle to the port. Also, do they have a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. I assume they don’t.

I have a few questions.

My wife wants to stream videos during our cruise on Oasis. Will there be a lot of buffering?

Since I won't need streaming, I was going to purchase 1 device for internet only for me and 1 device internet with streaming for my wife. Does that make sense?

We will have a total of 4 devices: 1 phone and 1 laptop each. I assume I will need to log off my phone to use my laptop. Correct?

CamaCama - I'm on Oasis 1/29/23. The price is 77 plus gratuities. It came out to total of $1288 

Does anyone know the per drink prices.

The alcohol drink package for 2 with gratuities is $1288 for 7 nights. That works out to $92 per day / per person. I’m guessing that’s about 6 alcohol drinks per day per person. I don’t think we will have that many every day but will drink water which is included.

I went on the Oasis back in 2015 to the Eastern Caribbean with my wife. Want to go next February to the Western Caribbean. The price for the Oasis is much cheaper than the Harmony or Symphony. Symphony being the most expensive.  

Is the price difference worth it? Ships are similar but the others are newer.

Seems like a good deal to me so I just ordered one.

With the 10,000 free points and just paying for the cruise (2x points) - that's over 15,000 points which equals $150 OBC. That's a good deal since I pay my bill in full every month.

If I book with RCCL, will they match the $100 OBC given by online sites or travel agents?

Is RCCL offering any OBC if you book now. I didn't see any from them but did see several for $100 if you book through one of the online cruise websites.

I have a courtesy hold on a grand suite for a January 10, 2016 Western Caribbean cruise. I need to make a decision within 24 hours. The cost difference between the Balcony room & GS is $2400. I am a C&A member but only at the Gold level.

Is that a fair price difference between the two.

OK, I think I've decided to go with a Grand Suite on the Allure this January. I like the private sun deck, CK & Lounge and of course the extra room you get in the suite.

I say - you only live once so go for it. My wife will be pleasantly surprised with my choice since I'm paying for it
