  1. Last time they had the KSF I was able to combine the KSF and the free UDP. The price of our cruise also dropped the week before. Our total cost went from almost $3,000 to close to $1600.

    That's really awesome!

The TA that I booked with told me that she'd keep an eye out up until the point where we make our final payment and that if possible she'd rearrange the booking in order to get us the best deal. She said that sometimes the prices 'rise' during the time of the deals. It'd be great if we got a bit of another drop prior to the final payment date as there's five of us in the family planning on going.

  2. How did you get to keep the credit, we were not able to do that

I was not able to keep the prior credit I had for booking initially during a DASH sale. I was able to combine the KSF with an AARP rate for their grandmother to bring the price down, but lost the $50 OBC.

  3. It is a crapshoot, I booked a suite on the last KSF and the price of pass 1 & 2 went up only after the promotion ended (and has remained at the higher price since) I also had priced out another date and that price had gone up (but that was during a dash sale) so there really is no answer.

My best suggestion to you would to put a courtesy hold on the room you want on June 30th to lock in the current price and if need be call NCL on July 1st and have them reprice it if the KSF benefits you, that way you have both options.

When I called the TA that booked us, they said they would wait and reprice the KSF offer on July 1st to see if in fact it would save us over what we currently have booked. She mentioned that there are times when your prior in advance booking may price out better.

  4. Can someone link me to it? I checked the NCL facebook page and didn't find anything.

We already booked a cruise for 3/15 with 2 kids. I wonder what happens to us? We can't cancel and rebook because we had 50% deposit and we would lose it plus another $100.

I'm in the same boat. We booked an April 2015 cruise on the Getaway (our first ever cruise) and have two cabins with three adults and two kids. We booked with a group of friends (about 12 cabins total) through a TA. I guess if this is applicable to our cruise I'll to call the TA and see if I can do anything.
