Thanks to everyone for the replies.

We have now booked some shore tours for the bigger islands, but not bothered for the smaller ones, will just relax and snorkel.

Hubby is happy having booked the two dive trips at Vila and daughter got her way with the Segway tour at Noumea :)

We are going on P&O Pacific Jewel at the end September and will be visiting the following:

Isle of Pines

Mare

Vila

Mystery Island

Noumea

1. Does anyone have any must do tour recommendations?
   
2. Some tours are only a couple of hours, do they run multiple tours through the day?
   
   
3. Has anyone done the wreak dive at Vila?
   
   
4. If we pre book now, can we change our minds when on-board?

Okay I probably don’t want to know the answer to this one, but curiosity has get the better of me.

Has anyone experienced any really bad weather at sea? And you I don’t just mean a bit of rain!! :eek:

I could happily go with internet or phone for 10 days, but we are traveling with a 17 year old who at the moment thinks her life will end if she can’t stay connected :D

I understand that access to internet and Wifi while on-board can be expensive.

Are there any other options such as mobile broadband/wifi or pay as you go sim cards?

We will be cruising with P&O on the Pacific Jewel in September
