Our excursions are NOT through RCI so looks like we will be in the line to get off the ship like everyone else!

Thanks for your responses! Yes, I am moreso trying to figure out how much time we will have for excursions during the days we are in port. :)

We are traveling on the Jewel of the Seas out of San Juan (Southern Caribbean itinerary) and I am just wondering- when the ship docks, how long does it take to actually get OFF? And also, how soon do we have to be back on the ship before it leaves port??

reedprincess is right! I was quoted 300 from the cruise ship to jalousie beach and back.

I'm not sure if you've cruised already but this is a good distance from the cruise pier, it's at Ladera in the Southern part of St Lucia, about 1.5 hours by car or an hour (roughly) by boat. It would be possible to do during one day but of course would be pretty expensive just to get down there. It is a BEAUTIFUL restaurant, though, with delicious food. We went last year.
