We have done a partial passage on Princess. It was an excellent experience. They provide a great narration all the way through the locks and then you spend the day in Gatune Lake. We loved this trip.

We were just on the Oasis a little over a week ago in a Central Park Balcony. We were on deck 10 under the kids pool and when we were out on the balcony during the day we did here the kids having fun but as soon as you close the slider there is no noise. At night there are blackout curtins that are pulled closed by the cabin attendant during turndown that blocks out the light. We enjoyed this cabin.

We got off the Oasis last Saturday. The line started moving at 6:20 and we breezed through Customs, got a taxi to the airport, and at our gate by 6:50. No problems. Set our alarm for 5:00, both showered, breakfast in Windjammer, then down to deck 5.

Come Fly with Me is excellent. You may not want to sit in the first few rows though. We were in the fourth row and I had to hold my breath a few times.

On Eastern route Quest is on Thursday and I think Love and Marriage was on Tuesday. No reservations required.

We were on this sailing, too. We enjoyed ourselves and were happy for the good weather but surprised by the fact that as english speaking passengers we were the minorities on the ship. We have been on quite a few cruises and never experienced that.
There were a lot of Alpha Alphas that gave people something to talk about along with the helicopter evacuation.
We enjoyed all that the ship had to offer but think we will be sticking with the smaller ships from now on.

Sailing on Oasis with a group of 24 people and just wondering if there is a pool table?

There are many restaurants and hotels in Kingsland bot as other poster pointed out it is only 30 minutes from JAX port. It would be a good place to spend the night before boarding if nothing in Jacksonville.

My CentralPark Balcony on Oasis January 2015 was booked a week ago for $1666 and today is listed at $2906. Almost twice the price. Yikes!

I can handle sharing the ship with a bunch of quilters. I would think this means less people out on deck fighting for deck chairs on sea days as they will be inside quilting. :)

I am booked on that sailing and have been watching the prices. The website has said N/A on the pricing for about a week now. This is also the case for the sailing after on 1/18/15. I called RCCL the other night and was told it had something to do with taking some sort of inventory but I think a week is a long time for something like that.
I did ask if it was for some sort of theme cruise but they said they did not think so. A car dealership here in our area is running a deal where you get a cruise if you buy a car and I am fine if it is something like that but I have also seen youtube video of Swinger Cruises on RCCL and I don't think I would be comfortable with being around that enviroment.
