I will be departing Radiance of the Seas Cruise on June 16, 2017 in Vancouver. Royal says we will arrive @ 7am. If I self disembark what is the earliest flight time I should book? And, What is the fastest way to travel to the airport? My husband and I will be traveling with 2, 10 year olds. We live on the east coast and after a 2 week Alaska vacation want to try to make it home as soon as possible. Also would be willing to fly out of Seattle, but again need to know the earliest flight and the quickest way there.On a side note: Is the ship arrival time usually the time you can leave the ship? Thanks in advance for all help!

Have you considered renting an RV instead of a minivan? It's a hotel on wheels. Kids usually like the camping out and can also help with your food budget.

How do you feel about $482 pp round trip out of PHL? Outbound on AA ($295 pp), return on AC ($187 pp).

Sorry, you need to give us more info than that. All airports involved. Best idea of dates involved. Otherwise we are just guessing your needs and plans.

We live in Central PA. I look flights out of Pittsburgh and BWI. Plan to fly to Anchorage on 6/1/17 and home from Vancouver on 6/1617.

How far out is your trip? I don’t like to gamble either, but our family of 4 will be going to Alaska in June 2017. With both flights being one way. I was hoping to get out of airfare for $2000. What do you think my chances are??? I have been checking prices since they have been available only has gone up a little.

LOL!! I will be cruising on the Radiance to Alaska in June 2017. We are also renting a RV in Anchorage for one week. A bucket list kinda trip!!!!

Sorry!!! Forgot to mention....I will also be traveling with 10 year old twins.

Has anyone done the Radiance to Alaska? I've got it booked for next August, for me and my ten yr old twins. Any advise? Tips?

OK CC experts (Bob) I'm cruising on the Oasis 4/2. Was planning to book an Alaskan cruise while on board (July 2017). Family of 4, 2 rooms, one balcony & one interior. So I take it I'm better off booking prior to the 4/4 sale because I won't get the free grats and 30% is better than 25%.

I want to know the exact same thing! We are cruising with a group of 12 and I used their travel agent. I would like to book another cruise next month while on Oasis of the Seas, but use my usual travel agent.

Just a few questions...... I will in cruising on the Oasis in April 2016. Was your large group able to dine together in the MDR? Any drink package discounts or drink cards seen this sailing? Thanks in advance for your help!

I have the same situation for our April cruise. I rented from Alamo at the airport. They have a free shuttle from the port.

What do you mean by "Return Receipt" I haven't rented the car yet. Can I show them my rental confirmation (receipt)??? Also does the shuttle come regularly??? Do I to have this prearranged??? Thanks for the help. Just trying to save a few dollars on a shuttle/taxi.

Do you know if Royal was offering any specials on drink packages for the last 2 days???? I thought other posts have stated the Premium Drink Package was on sale for $99.

The thing about Oasis/Allure is....there are so many other options for dining, this was the first cruise we've ever done where we never set foot in there. It was weird.....one day we walked through just to get a look. With Park Café, the Solarium upstairs, Pizza and the other one down on Promenade, we didn't have to go to buffet. We did try the dining room one morning for breakfast and it was terrible. Very slow service and the food was cold and not good. But the Park Café and Solarium saw us constantly.

We are on Oasis in April and have the same goal. Not to set foot in the Winjammer!!!!!

So you still go through customs without you luggage?

Not a suite guest, but considering luggage valet? How much time can it save you with disembark?? Is this a good option with an early flight????
