Hi All...... My wife and I cruised the Pacific Islands in April 2019, sailing out of Brisbane to Auckland on the Massdam.

On that cruise there was a proffesional photographer.

Question.....Can anyone on that particular cruise remember his name?

He was really great to listen and talk to.

We booked a little late it seems, so there wasn't much choice for inside cabins

Do you have any idea what would surround the cabin. Seems to be a blank area on 3 sides

We have gone back to our agent and asked if its possible to make a change, yes with some difficulty. The ship is pretty much booked out. Good Sign!

we are book to sail on the K-dam 2017 30 day sail in the Baltic, and on the Main Deck.

Noise didn't seem to worry too much??

Have cruise before but haven't had stateroom on the Main deck.

Hi cruisers can anyone tell me if you are able to buy bottled water on Nieuw Amsterdam. It would save us packing bottles, as we are travelling from New Zealand

We are doing a mediterranean cruise and some shore excursions

The excursions are local time not ship time What is the difference and how do we kerp track if what shore time is?

If you order milk, write-in "1-empty glass" or you might be drinking it from a carton.

Hi Folks, our ship docks in Venice at 1300hrs and we are disembarking the next day at 0700hrs.

I was wondering if they would let you disembark on the day of docking, as we would like to catch the train to Lake Como later that afternoon.

In Aug/Sept this we are travelling to UK and then on to Baracelona to board Nieuw Amsterdam for a 24 night cruise of the Med.my question is what power adapter dose the ship have, American or European?

We've cruise this line before but can't remember what we used

Thanks zackiedawg! I am definitely going to look in the Sony now. Not sure that I am going to need a lot of lenses due to my existing Nikon system but you just never know - I might get hooked on the mirrorless!

I have cruised with sony a77 just great, along with the Tamron 18-270 lens very good all purpose lens. just purchased the new Tamron 16-300 which should be even better.

Will be using my a77 and 16-300 on our next cruise in Med. in 2015

The 18-270 or the 16-300 are very good all purpose lens, no need to carry any other
