  1. We sailed from Tampa port last April.  We used a taxi from airport to hotel.  Our hotel arranged transportation to port. Upon returning, we had another company transfer us to St. Pete Beach.  While in Tampa, we used Uber and had no problems.  If you staying close to port and just a couple of you, take Uber.

  2. Hi, thanks for all your responses.  This will be the 1st visit to Scotland for the 4 of us.  We have an avid golfer in our group.  Not sure if we should take tour to St. Andrews or go into Edinburgh.  This stop will be at the end of our holiday.  My interests are the Royal Mile and the Royal Yacht.  I am also interested in the HOHO.

tartanexile what  do you think for first timers?

  3. Hi, We will be arriving on Princess Pacific to the Rosyth port on 08/23.  Is there anyway to get to downtown that is semi-easy?  I contacted Princess and they stated that there is no shuttle.  Will taxi's be available or is it best to connect with a train or bus?  It looks like it is about 15 miles.  Thank you in advance!

  4. Hi,  We are a little behind in planning.  Going on a Princess cruise, leaving August 17 and returning August 25 from Dover.  We are flying in 2 days prior and staying one day later so need transportation from our hotel.  Staying at the Hilton Kensington.  Will need transport to hotel and also to Dover and returns.  I have checked some of the boards and I this is my list:

    Smiths

    Blackberry Cars

    Simplyairports

    WestQuay

Am I missing any companies to check with for transportation?  Also, not exactly sure what companies transport to port listed above from posts.

    Thanks in advance!

I too was on this cruise (party of 5) and agree you captured the fun through your review and pics.  Like you, I thought the MDR food was good but we also ate twice in specialty and thought both Chops and Giovanni's were amazing.  The BOGO is a great deal.  Last day we did the Puzzle Break - a lot of fun if you like escape rooms - and the Quest game show - absolutely hilarious.  In Cozumel we did Trikes Cozumel and toured the island on three-wheeled motorcycles.  A really great cruise!

Bizi1,  I am assuming that you bought the precruise BOGO and ended up in Chops and Giovanni’s?  When do you find out what restaurants you will eat at?

With my time dining you can either just show up and be seated when a table is available, or call and make a reservation.

Most shows did have an early and later showing. The comedy show early show was family friendly and the late was adult rated.

Live music was pretty good for the most part, the headline acts were great.

    Thank you very much!
