We are on the Getaway next month (Feb). I read not too far from where the ship docks there is a place you can interact with monkeys. I believe it’s $25 per person. Does anyone know where the Getaway is docked and if it is the same dock as the monkey area 

You should have no problem finding a spot to park your car. And it’s super close to the terminal. Keep in mind getting to the terminal May take some time because the roads leading to the terminal is not ideal. Only one lane going into and one lane coming out of terminal. Bring magnetic hooks to use for handing hats, swim suit etc. Not sure what it is call maybe power strips you would most likely need one. The outlet is not near the nightstand so you may want to bring an extension cord. Your kids can try the teen club. There’s bowling and arcade. Swimming and water slides. Basketball and there may be a rope course

We will be on MSC Meraviglia in August. One of our stop will be Miami. If we step off the ship, what is there to do? Any suggestions what is fun with two 8 years old boy and a teenager? Also any good Latin food near the port? Or area with multi Latin food trucks?

My USA passport is expiring on Dec 2019. Looking at a cruise that sail on Aug 27, 2019. What other documents can I provide to get on ship. Ports are San Juan PR, Grand Turk and Amber Cove DR will I have a problem with getting back on ship with an close to expire passport? If I were to renew passport now I’m afraid I will not get new passport on time for the cruise. Have anyone come upon this problem ? 

We will be on the Disney Magic ship. Does anyone know how far it is from the pier to Barrachina? Is it walkable or do we need a taxi? Have anyone stow luggages at Barrachina? What have been your experience?

For the last few times we arrived in San Juan, you can drop of your bags at Barrachina before the restaurant opens. We've dropped bags as early as 9am.

We will be getting off The Disney Magic in November 2018. Where is Barrachina located at? Is it close to the cruise pier? What is the cost of leaving bags there? Also do we need to make reservation before hand?

I know it is best to use Euros and Canadian dollars to purchase CUC.And to avoid using US Dollars because of the 10 % charge. What about the British Pound? Does it work the same way as the Euro/Cad Dollars?

I booked a tour with Blexie and he informed us that our guide will be Jorge. Has anyone did a tour with Jorge before? If you have, what are the places Jorge took you to see? We will be in Cuba all day Sunday and up to 2 pm on Monday. Are shops, restaurants and museum open on Sundays? Have anyone used the Hop On Hop Off? The cost, where did you catch the bus and what did you see?

Will be on Empress of the Seas with an overnight in Havana Cuba. I believe that we are booked with Blexie because he replied back with the guide name as Jorge. Blexie didn’t mention the time of our tour and when I wrote back to him I didn’t get an reply. I read the service is poor but I already waited at least a month with no reply from Blexie. Has anyone had to wait this long for a reply? Has anyone had Jorge as a guide and what did you think of him.?

Part of the tour is walking and then a ride in a vintage car. I’m not sure where or what the walking tour takes us. Have anyone done the Free Walking Tour ? I was thinking about arranging the Free Walking Tour on our second day. My question is has anyone done both the walking tour with Jorge and done the Free Walking Tour ? Do both the walking tours takes you to same sights?

Euro and Canadian dollar are best to use to purchase CUC. What about British Pounds?

We will be arriving in Havana on Saturday and sail away on Sunday at 2 pm. Are stores/attractions open on the weekend. What time does things open up on Sunday? Any recommendations for a nice place to have dinner that’s not far from the pier. Is there a hop on hop off bus? What is the cost and where do you catch the bus?

Will be in OSJ in a few weeks. We will be on Harmony of the Seas. We will be there from 7 am to 2 pm. Does anyone have any suggestions on what we can do in such a short amount of time? I heard there is free trolley, where does the trolley go and where do we catch the trolley? Where can we get some authentic Spanish food?

We are on Empress of the Seas

Booked our cruise to Cuba. Sailing on September 1 - 6, 2018. It’s 5 Night Havana/Cozumel. The original itinerary said Cuba on day 2 ship will be dock from 8-8pm. Day 3 is Sea Day. I fully paid for the cruise. The TA sent me the confirmation along with the itinerary. Next day TA called and said it is actually an overnight in Havana which is Day 2 from 8 am to Day 3 to 2 pm. TA mentioned that to get off ship we would need to have an excursion on each day to be allow off ship. TA said she will contact someone to amend the itinerary on their website. I just check the website and it

now says there is a overnight in Cuba but the hours is Day 1 8am to Day 3 midnight. We have an excursion for Day 1 which is approve US government.

Since we have an excursion on Day 1 , would we need a planned excursion for Day 2 to get off the ship?

It’s so confusing with the itinerary.

Also there is no roll call for this sailing.

Is anyone on this Cuba sailing on September 1, 2018 from Miami?

We’ll be sailing on The Harmony of the Sea - Fort Lauderdale . We need to get to Miami to broad Empress of the Sea to sail to Cuba. Getting off The Harmony and broad Empress is on the same day. Does anyone have any suggestions on transportation?

As of April 27, 2018 they flew home for their break. Arvin and Emily will be back on the Breakway on July 4th. Which happen to be Emily’s birthday.
