I had a problem a little over a month ago as well. We booked an interior category 4D, early saver. Found an ocean view category 6A on fair viewer for $550 less!! I called my PVP, she said she could only get me an OBC for $162. I still don't understand why I wouldn't either get the full difference or at least an upgrade. Am I wrong for this??

I would definitely contact carnival and try to get onboard credit. Always worth a try to get a little spending money back!! Did you book early saver? Either way, I would still call carnival or the TA you booked with! Happy sailing!!

Absolutely loved your review. We are sailing the Sunshine in November (enjoyed that review as well), doing the same itinerary as your second week, so it was nice to find out some new things about those ports. Never gave the Glory a thought but am now convinced that it must be my next cruise thanks to your wonderful review. Awesome pictures by the way!

Loving your review! Can't wait to read the rest. We are doing this same ship and itinerary in exactly 2 months and I am so excited! Love reading such detailed reviews so that I know what we're getting ourselves into! I MUST bring a small fan considering DH is always hot. Oh wow!! Good to know, thank you! I thought the same thing. With two boys, neither of which know the definition of "walk don't run", I can see it already!! I would really hate for their first to cruise be their last because we could never afford another one again if one of them got hurt and we had to pay for those medical expenses! I feel a little more confident knowing I'm not alone. I will definitely feel better with the insurance!
And you got that right. It's a waste of money until you need it!

I will be paying in full today for our November 29th sailing on the Sunshine and I will be purchasing the vacation protection. Does anyone have any pros, cons or personal opinions about Carnivals vacation protection plan that I should know about before purchasing? My sister paid in full yesterday and did not purchase the insurance but I believe that this would be best for my family, being as we are taking our two boys (6&3) as well as my mother in law who was only just cleared of her cancer in March. I guess I'm asking just to reassure myself that it's worth it! Any help is appreciated! :) so excited!

I'm 96 days out and I already have my suit cases out with stuff already packed in them 😳 but I'm behind on my paperwork. Trying to get on track to apply for both of my sons passports!! Guess I did it backwards!! Haha I'm too excited tho!

Has anyone stayed in this cabin before or maybe one close to it? Worried about the noise coming from the liquid lounge below. Bringing along 2 small children. Also, any pictures would be great!!

Which ship was this person on? Were there any proposal pictures on it? Someone else just posted that they lost a blue Fiji camera in Grand Turk off of the Breeze.

Same here! Bummed that I won't be getting any OBC on my Sunshine cruise. Prices just keep going up but at least we know we paid a good price!!

I did see on ship mate that they are having delays to board this ship and possibly inspections. Hope they get any bugs fixed now! 112 days for me!!

My suggestion is buy those empty bottles that they have in the traveling area of walmart for shampoos and other things and empty them into there and put it with your toiletry items.
