Also, starting April 2017, Fantastica will include 12 drink vouchers per person in the cabin (non alcoholic version for kids). This along with coffee delivered each morning was a huge advantage!
-
We sail in April. When I called to confirm the changes would begin by our sail date, they also confirmed that they drink vouchers were per person and that our 2 children would receive "non-alcoholic" drink vouchers.

My family is traveling with my parents in April and we are looking for a great excursion that they would enjoy while we are at Dunns River Falls and Blue Hole. My dad has mobility issues and we've decided that it may be too much for him to enjoy with us. Any recommendations? The only thing I've found so far is a "taste of Jamaica" through our Cruise ship that will take then to a cooking class.

On the option to repurchase online, it lists the cost as $98 per person. If we purchase one package, under my husband's name, would all of our family's pictures in our cabin be included?

Can anyone confirm when "Summer of 2017" officially begins? We're sailing in April, but were told that is technically the summer sailing season?

Oh wow! I knew they decorated on Disney but had never thought to do it on another cruise line. We'll be sailing on my daughter's 5th birthday, so we will most definitely be decorating our door for her :)

Re: Waterslide Age
We had asked our TA about the requirement. He called MSC and reported back that they said it was a minimum height or age, which our son easily met. This was back in April sometime.
I suspect it may be one of those things that depends on who is running the waterslide on a particular day or cruise... different interpretations of the rules. Whoever my wife spoke to insisted that the minimum age was nine, regardless of height. She told my wife that they'd need to have proof of age before our son was issued his bracelet (presumably from the cruise card?).
Whenever we walked past the waterslide area, the lineup seemed to have only older kids and teens (and a few adults), FWIW.
Perhaps you two will have better luck - I hope so!
I think you are right about depending on who is there that day...
There is a thread on this board about the waterslide age/height requirements from January. Someone had asked directly on the MSC Facebook page and they stated it was EIGHT years old OR 47 Inches. So who knows... either way, I will have one or 2 disappointed kiddos come April. My 7 year old is 48 inches, but the daredevil 5 year old is not :(

The ship time gets moved back 1hr on the first night.
Ok, but they don't adjust the times listed on the itinerary? It says we arrive at 9:00am, but if it is back one hour, we really arrive at 8?
-
Color me confused...
Does the itinerary list the current island times, or no? I recently booked a Caribbean cruise in April not eh Divina and sent an email to Aquarius Sea tours in Grand Cayman to see if their morning cruise would work with our itinerary. They replied back that yes, they would be picking up at 8:45 which is not the same as our ship time. (Our itinerary for MSC says we arrive at 9:00am) Are they wrong? Don't want to book an excursion we will miss, but feel like they should have this down, right?

With the Fantastica package on the Divina, will the 2 children in our cabin also receive 18 drink vouchers - for non-alcoholic drinks?
-
I know it's been a while since this thread was started. Did any of you end up booking or going on this? We are starting to look at our options for next spring and will be traveling with our 5 and 7 year olds.

Just received my husband's status match email today. He submitted his Marriott Gold status and they matched it to Gold level. :)
-
Hmm, we just booked for April of next year and both of our children (5 & 7) sail free.
-
Has anyone matched with a hotel loyalty program? They match with Marriott and my husband is currently a Gold status with them. Anyone know if it would be the same?

Grand Cayman is not on Daylight Savings time, so yes! You would definitely make it. We dock at 9:00am ship time, but it is 8:00 Grand Cayman time :)
