  1. Its $20 a day now. I called to see if they have shuttle from the palm garage and they said no. They said you can walk but there is no sidewalks to safely walk.

Would prefer to park in garage but I guess I might to have park beside terminal 18.

If you plan to continue cruising regularly, you are apt to see both St Thomas and San Juan on future cruises as they both make frequent appearances.  For my first few cruises I spent a disproportionate amount of time think about specific Caribbean port stops.  An itinerary change or a missed port could be disappointing. Then I realized we were addicted to cruising and without special planning we would soon know all usual Caribbean ports (and plenty of less common ones, too)

So if you foresee many cruises in your future, pick either one for any reason.  Both ports have their charms.  You might even be swayed by other considerations (more convenient week, flights, hotels, price, cabin availability, whatever).

    |Thanks, we do enjoy cruising so yes can do the other port another time too.

  3. I would like to try Symphony of the Seas, but is having trouble deciding on itineraries. I haven't been to any of the places except Coco Cay. Would love some opinions.

    Thank you

    Day 3: At Sea

I believe this was the morning we were up at 4:45. Sometimes she will have night terrors and well this was one of them. I truly felt bad for our neighbors but there was nothing that could be done until she wakes up on her own. Luckily, I had talked with the one neighbor because they also couldn't get into the room on our first day and we say them later and apologized. They said they couldn't hear anything! So, that made me happy!

Watched the beautiful sunrise, took lots of pictures and got my favorite one of the whole trip with the sunrise in the background! Headed to breakfast.  We made an appointment with Next Cruise and my husband was also going to the art auction. Today was the top tier event. We were going to attempt to go but wasn't a good idea with how the morning started.

We sat with one of the ladies and booked 3 more cruises! We are super excited about it. As we were booking, that is when I saw super Mario. My husband asked me what I was staring at and I was like pretty sure that was him and it was. The lady was telling us all about him.

Not sure which of these days A napped but it wasn't a lot. We went to the kid section on the pool deck.  She had fun but when she is done, you know it. I didn't take her to the pool yet because one she does wear a swim diaper and we found out later that isn't allowed eve though we were told something different and sea days it is just to many people. You know, they "ALL" get out to go to the bathroom.

Headed to the room and I do believe a short nap took place. I was trying to get her up and sent my husband on his way to order for me. The 2 of us made it down, just in time for dinner. She was in a much better mood this visit to Chops. Again, hubby had the rib eye and I had a New York Strip. Should have gotten the filet. Dessert with both had the cheesecake which was delish. Just wish it was a little colder. Again service was perfect. We also eat a little faster to get done quicker because a 2 years attention span isn't very long! Thank god for her tablet! We probably headed back to the room for sleep. One night we were up a little later then normal!

SIDE NOTE: I forgot to add this to yesterday's. Again my 2 cents. I really wish they would have a place to get towels either on the island since it is their island or when you are leaving. Going up to deck 15 and back down and then returning them wet gets old. Again just my opinion.

I guess you get towels before you get off, but nice man on the island showed me where. told him i was told I could get on the island, he said its really to just trade them in. He said he was going to mention it to the ship after I told him what I was told.

Actual wording "... no more than 1 day before to your scheduled flight". The only interpretation I can see is that the antigen test can be administered the day before OR the day of scheduled departure to Canada.

for example, if your flight is scheduled to leave or you enter by land any time on Friday, you could provide proof of a negative result from an antigen test taken any time on Thursday, or on Friday

This  I  found on the Canada travel site

    1. Starting February 28: proof of a professionally administered or observed antigen test taken outside of Canada no more than 1 day before to your scheduled flight or entry to Canada by land or water
      • the one day window does not depend on the time of day the test was taken or the time of your flight or entry
      • for example, if your flight is scheduled to leave or you enter by land any time on Friday, you could provide proof of a negative result from an antigen test taken any time on Thursday, or on Friday
      • it must be administered or observed by a pharmacy, laboratory, healthcare entity or telehealth service
      • the test must be authorized for sale or distribution in Canada or in the jurisdiction in which it was obtained
      • the test must be performed outside of Canada*
      • **Would this mean I could still take day of flight home **
    • Thanks 1

Still is an odd word?  Antigen was just added today.

As of today you can use an antigen test one day prior OR a PCR (molecular) test 72 hours prior to return to Canada via Air or Land.

So you cant take the rapid test as soon as you depart the ship and get on your flight home that day. Is that the only rule

Have you looked into the antigen tests sold through Switch Health?  You could take it onboard on the final day of the cruise and use it to fly home (after Canada changes to allow antigens on 3/1).

I did look into that but I don't usually get the internet
