About 50 days til cruise.  We start our trip on June 7 driving from Puerto Vallarta to Reno and then to Portland,

Leave the car there, and fly to Toronto (miss gay pride by one week).  then fly to Edinburgh, Scotland - London for Gay Pride and see Hamilton, Bilbou for the Guggenhiem, Barcelona to catch the cruise, fly from Athens after the cruise to Istanbul, then to Bangkok, Hoi An Vietnam, ChangMai, and then Shanghai China, and back to Portland, figure out the rest after we get there.

Hope to meet others on the Ship, These G&L forums aren't well followed, Will probably meet others at the designated get together on the ship - They are unhosted, so those initial get-togethers are crucial ( that you make the effort to connect, or subsequently, no one shows up).

Good to hear from you. We would love to meet you, and I think there might be a few other Gay/LGBT couples whom I think are part of the cruise critic group "Majestic Roll Call". We could meet at the get together that the roll call group is hosting (look on that group page for the time and place). Or we can arrange another time to meet you.

It appears that the LGBT get together usually posted on the Princess Patter, (an unhosted meeting time and place), Usually poorly attended anyway, has been eliminated from the events listed. To bad, I had hoped to get more out of it then in the past, since we are traveling alone.

By the way, the following link gives great insight into what we can expect on this cruise.

including copies of menu's for specialty restaurants, entertainment, pictures of the ship and food etc.

This Cruise, is the last segment for Majestic before it is turned over for the 3 year China Charter. The production shows I see listed, are the same ones we've seen on the Regal the last two cruises. With 11 sea days, more then we've ever done before, we are slightly anxious on how we'll stay entertained. We are also traveling by ourselves, we're usually with another couple.

Hopefully we can connect with like minded individuals for conversation, dining companions, playing cards, etc. :wine-glass:

Some people are doing a longer segment starting in the Med or in Dubai, We are doing the 21 day segment with a week in Cambodia before and 13 days in China after. We are retired Restaurant owners from Napa California, currently living in Puerto Vallarta Mexico.

We're interested in fellow cruisers on this Inaugural cruise segment of 21 days.

This will be a unique cruise, as the ship will become a dedicated China cruise ship after this cruise. We've traveled on the Regal Princess three times. The Majestic is the same class, with a few changes, they'll be interesting to see.

We would love to connect with other LGBT who might be on this cruise.

This will be our 3rd Regal Princess cruise, but in the past, we traveled with a straight couple who can't make this one. Ed and Gary (Retired from Napa Valley, currently living in Puerto Vallarta Mexico).

My partner and I will be on the August 20th Princess cruise out of Copenhagen stopping for two days in St. Petersburg. Hoping to meet other LGBT for congenial company and possibly excursions.

Ed and I (Gary) will be on our second Med Princess cruise. Last cruise we went to the weekly lgbt get-togethers posted for the cruise, but because they were during normal busy hours, we couldn't identify like minded people in the crowds. Maybe if we connected with someone here, we could arrange to recognize each other. (We are newly retired restaurantuers from Napa California, living in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, traveling with a couple of good friends (straight).
