We've just got back from our 9th Costa Cruise, this time aboard Costa Deliziosa. Very nice ship, we like Costa they have always been great.
With regard to the all inclusive drinks package we've had it on our last 3 cruises and found it excellent. Yes they have changed it slightly ie no longer get bottles of wine or water now get these as per glass. It's still a very very good deal. During the day we'd have the soft drinks or non alcoholic cocktails which were very refreshing. For our meals glasses of wine (no restriction) or beer and even a liqueur (inc brandy) after and then of course the "alcoholic" cocktails were lovely - specially the Mai Tai.
All in all we would say go for it!
Happy Cruising and looking forward to our next Costa in November:):)
Drinks Package ease of use?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
We are due to go on our First Celebrity cruise (Alaska) in July 2015.
We are trying to decide if we should buy one of the drinks packages on board. However we have some questions:
In the Classic Package are cocktails included? ie Mai Tai, Pina Colada
if not does anyone know roughly how much these cost
and how much the non-alcoholic cocktails costs ie Shirley Temple
Also how much does a glass of beer cost, and an average bottle of red wine?
Unfortunately we find the Celebrity web site very confusing.
On an average we would drink the following during a day:
2 cappuccinos (breakfast), mid morning soft drink, 2 beers before lunch, glass of wine with lunch. Afternoon a couple of non alcoholic drinks or hubby may have an additional beer. Cocktail or G&T before dinner, couple of glasses of wine and couple of glasses of water with dinner. after dinner drink and a cocktail or 2 and a coffee (Sounds a lot I know but easy going when you are having a relaxing time!! :) :D :o
Many thanks for any help.
