Hi All!! Sailing Allure in a few weeks with stops in Nassau/St. Thomas/St. Maartin.
The wife and I have been to a few caribbean resorts and love finding a nice harbor and sailing a hobie cat for the day. The Internet is rather dry on places to rent these for an afternoon. Anyone here know of anywhere these can be rented by the hour/day? I have seen a few posts where we may be able to take the ferry from St. Thomas to St. John and find one in Cinnamon bay or perhaps we could buy a day pass at an all-inclusive, but they were all a few years old. Any help would be appreciated. We don't really care what stop we could find one, but spending a day sailing alone in a caribbean harbor would be a great way spend a morning and celebrate our anniversary.
Thanks for the help!

I have no problem with the 15%. Gratuities, tips, whatever is fine. Staff works hard.
Hi all,
Been lurking these boards for awhile and finally registered.
I hate for my first post to sound all negative, but this is the issue I have been dealing with this morning. I have no problem with the waitstaff getting 15%, but I do have a problem with one price being advertised and another being charged.
I am trying to book the Premium package for an Allure 7-night in Oct. The price shows $49/day. Clicking the fine print link claims all gratuities included. As with others when I put it in my cart a 15% gratuity is added.
So, I did not check out and called. The lady was very nice and understood the problem (and, of course, stated they were having IT problems :D), but she said the advertised price was for online booking only and if she did it the cost would be $55. She said my options were to book with her at the higher rate or wait for the issue to be fixed. I decided to wait, but had her make a notation of the price and issue in the reservation (and also took some screenshots). I'll give it a few days and if it is not fixed I'll call back and be more insistent they honor their advertised price.

Was on Liberty about a month ago with the drink package...the vast majority of the time we did not sign, but it appeared to be up to the individual bartender. It did seem like anytime a server brought a drink to a seat or table (such as in the theater or pool) they brought a slip, when you just ordered at the bar about 90% of the time we did not sign. In the MDR we ordered wine each night and did not have to sign there either.
Also regarding Vintages...as mentioned wines up to $12 are included, but anything over $12 you only pay the difference. Bottles are not included, I don't recall as we did not get any but I think there *may* be a discount of some sort.
