Since the beginning of 2024, there have been 18 recorded murders in Nassau, the capital city of the Bahamas. These incidents have occurred at various times, including broad daylight on the streets. The primary motive behind these murders appears to be retaliatory gang violence1.

Please exercise extreme caution when in the eastern part of New Providence Island (Nassau), and remain vigilant while walking or driving at night. It’s essential to be aware of your surroundings and review your personal security plans during your stay in Nassau1. If you’re a U.S. citizen, you can also reach out to the U.S. Embassy Nassau for assistance1

  3. Does Carnival still offer the dessert in the Farenheight restaurant where the chef comes to your table and makes an art dessert from the large white chocolate ball with various types of chocolate inside it? This photo is when we were on Mardi Gras in 2021

We will be in St Kitss on July 20, 2022 on the Caribbean Princess  and are looking for recommendations on tours while there.  We toured with Rosey's last time we were there but she and her husband ae on vacation that week she provided a great island tour.  Looking for a good tour company to use while there.  Island tour would be what we are looking for no zip lines we did that stuff when we were younger.  Your suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Would you please provide the contact for Rosey's?  We'll be there in November and wanted to take their tour.  Txs

  5. We will be arriving in St. Thomas on the Harmony of the Seas on November 2nd. One of the couples has never visited St. Thomas and we're looking for a recent recommendation for a private tour or taxi for sight seeing and shopping (4 people). Possibly a quick stop at Megans Bay just for pictures.  TIA

Luggage drop off was in the top left corner, its kind of where the orange circle is.  They set up tents.  You cannot miss it, it is part of the parking line.  You will enter the lot and they will have jersey walls set up to snake around to where you pay, then to luggage drop off, then to park.  There is no way to park without going to luggage drop.

Thanks... At end of cruise is your luggage in building 324 and do they have porters to take the luggage to your car?

It's on the Cruise Terminal's website, it's right at the corner of Concord St. and Laurens St. We come in down Bay Street off of I-26, turn left onto Calhoun, right onto Concord, and the entrance is one block straight ahead.

Also in the past the parking lot would open at around 9AM for folks to drop off luggage, but nobody could actually start parking until people from the last cruise had all left which is usually right around 10AM. The terminal isn't big enough for them to do it any other way.

Is the luggage drop off area clearly marked?

Booked on two back to back cruises on Enchanted February 28 and March 10. Concerned how many ports might be unavailable. Cruised over Thanksgiving and Jamaica was restricted where you could go. Has anyone experienced issues with this? Not worried about Covid but not interested in a 20 day sea day cruise 😉

The port situation is changing almost daily. Some of the ports that were open to us have now changed to only bubble tours. Friends of ours on a Carnival cruise this past week were denied entry into 2 of their 3 ports, due to number of covid cases on board

I was just wondering if anyone had any success getting an upgrade once on board? Ship is at 52% capacity, so I figured one will be available.

We were on the Enchanted Dec 10th sailing and requested an upgrade as soon as we boarded at guest Services. On the second day we received an up sale offer. We had a BA Balcony up to an M1 Club Class Mini and the cost was $15/person per day. They offered us a Penthouse Suite for $60/day per person.

We chose the club class mini.

Does anyone know which nights are formal on Enchanted 10 Day cruises?  I want to make an appt to get my hair done but I don't want to make it on the wrong day.  Thanks.

Our itinerary had stops in St. Thomas, St. Kitts, etc and our sailing left on December 10.and returned on December 20. Our formal nights were December 12 and December 18

Can you provide some insight into Formal Night, which I believe had been renamed?  Are people still dressing formal?  Would my husband be wise to bring a suit/jacket?  I have some dresses I bought for what was to be 60 days on Princess in March/April 2020. I was hoping to get use of them on our upcoming cruise as formal nights have really disappeared from most cruise lines.

It's really a mixture we dressed up the second formal night (Tux and gown) but we saw many other men in suits or just sport jackets. Since it's Princess we did experience more passengers wearing formal wear. We were on the Carnival Mardi Gras in September and as expected with Carnival we saw very few passengers wearing formal wear (we did not either).

What about in the Princess theater - can you bring drinks in, and sip them w/o masks, or is the sip & cover enforced? Thanks for all your tips!!

    Big Al

You can bring drinks into Princess theater, but the seats do not have cup holders or pull out tables so you have to hold your glass the entire time sip & cover wasn't enforced but they did ask over the intercom that you sip and cover
