It took 45 min  for agent to confirm cruise cancellation and 2 more hours to rebook on Feb 10  cruise. Very few choices for oceanview cabins.

I was just enquiring whether that was something you had been told on a message board or from the horses mouth as it were.

 

There is a maximum limit of pyrotechnics they are certified and insured to sail with onboard, so it sounds like they have a delivery every week now and are not able to store two aerial shows worth for the sailing.

From DCL, we called DCL not too long after we found out about the Star Wars days to make sure they were still having a pirate night.

My understanding from fb posts is that this is a one time event for the posted dates only. However if it goes over well DSL might change their minds. My sister and I are on the first Star Wars cruise and we were assured that there would be a pirate night also, but fireworks will be Star Wars night only!

Do you mean how do you get the credit? You must book ALL payments for your trip with your Disney Visa credit card and have your TA or DCL apply the code to your reservation. You get a little card in your room notifying you that you have the credit.

 

It is generally not able to be combined with other discounts or specials (like *GT bookings) from Disney. Cannot be combined with an onboard booking credit.

Ok, so we have the $50 Disney Visa on-board credit beverage package. We are not really drinkers and since sodas are free, what else can we use this credit for? Dh drinks coffee, but I do not. (And, we are not ones to drink during the big shows.)

 

Are there any drinks that come in souvenir glasses that we can order with the beverage credits?

How do you get that, is it something you can request?

The only reason I know about the Magic class so specially is because I worked on the Magic, so do not feel any embarrassment about asking questions, and there are lots of people here who know more about the Guest experience than I do!

Far aft on the Magic and Wonder on deck 7 we have experienced some vibration/noise during docking which at some point we were told is due to the thrusters used in that process. BUT we are talking about 2-3 minutes' date=' not anything continuous or bothersome.[/quote']

This is my first Disney cruise, second cruise overall. On my last cruise the cabin was mid-aft (more mid than aft), this time I am much further aft. Could anyone who has had an Aft cabin on 8th deck tell if there was a lot of noise/vibrations from engines. Thank you! :)

The ships with Gelato are the Ruby, Emerald and Crown. The Royal and Regal have a Gelato shop separate from the IC.

I had a surprise on Saturday when I received an email from Princess re my Spanish Passage cruise in October 2015 - they have upgraded us from mid-aft Baja deck to centre Caribe deck. Really surprised to get this so far out but very happy to have the larger balcony and midship!!!:)

It is a great surprise, I was so happy when my sister and I were upgraded to Caribe. It is very close to being a midship too!

I got an upgrade from regular balcony to a double. I think it was because I booked cheapest balcony I could and did so super early or could be the upgrade fairy was in a good mood that day!
