Hoping someone may know on here before I ring P & O. I have booked Baltic cruise in May 2022 on Britannia and pre-registered my booking (select). Normally when you book you can choose your cabin but this did not come up with pre register. I received an email when the holidays were launched and have been allocated a cabin. This is a forward cabin and I do prefer midships but there doesnt appear to be anywhere that I can change my cabin when I log in to already booked. When you book Select it does say you can choose cabin but I havent been given that option. Any ideas please. I have been allocated D209 which may well be fine. Just asking
Thanks for your time

Can anyone tell me please if you can cancel a shore excursion booked online and rebook when the price has gone down. I cant see how to cancel.
Many thanks

Just to update after all your helpful replies. Had an offer by email today and the drinks package has gone down to £38 per day which is a big saving and now I know how to get the onboard credit off (thanks to you) I have got two weeks drinks for both of us at £834. Ive also noted that the trip I have booked is now cheaper, can you cancel and re-book and if so how do I do that online please

I will keep looking lol

Ah thank you guys you are much better than Royal Caribbean, didnt take you 7 days to tell me what im doing wrong lol.
Much appreciated but I have now lost the good deal anyway. You dont have to use the credit pre cruise do you - or do you ?

We are on Indy at the end of June and twice now I have been into my cruise planner to book something (excursion and spa). I ticked the use on board credit but both times I have ended up paying via my credit card and my onboard credit remains the same. Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Last Sunday I saw the Deluxe drinks package was at a much lower price but I didnt want the same thing to happen. I emailed RCI cruise planner and got a thank you for emailing we will get back to you. One week later no reply and now the price is back up to normal.
So annoyed lol.

A big thanks to everyone that helped me on this topic. I can confirm we have booked the trip on 25th October, flying back from Barbados 9th November (we did the 15 day). I have already upgraded to premium economy on the flight to give us some extra legroom but of course actual seats not yet booked. We are in C 516 which is about the best mid ship that was still available.
Just a couple of extra questions. We are going to leave the car at Gatwick and get the courtesy bus to Southampton - how does that work, will we get info nearer the time? Secondly what sort of weather can we expect in the caribbean late october early november is it going to rain a lot!! ?
Thanks again everyone, you convinced me to book and think we got a good deal.
Looking forward to it already.

Thanks sueandphil that is also very useful info. I will look into it and as you say Might see you onbaord lol

Thanks amfc that is very useful. Can I ask what you found to do in Barbados whilst waiting for the flight and was there anywhere to put your hand luggage i.e.lockers? Another thing we have to think about is the fact we will be leaving from Southampton but coming back into London. Normally sailing from Southampton is great as we only live in Cornwall so its 3 hours up the road.
You have been most helpful thanks you.

Thank you so much everyone. We cant go in March so end of this year it will be. To be honest we have been to Las Vegas 10 times and it is always an overnight flight back. We will just have to get a good nights sleep on our last night. Is there any chance of upgrading the flight home for more comfort do you think?

My hubby and I are looking to do a caribbean cruise sailing from Southampton and returning from Barbados by air. Ive seen a very reasonably priced one on Brittannia leaving 26th October this year. Has anyone done this sort of cruise as most seem to fly to Barbados and cruise home. We have been on Arcadia twice but I really fancy Brittannia as I like a larger ship. My question is how is the crossing at that time of year (going via Madeira), rocky wise and weather? Any other suggestions as to best deck or cabins ?
Thanking you in anticipation

Thank you that helps a lot. More room in the suitcase lol.

Off to the Fjords tomorrow on Arcadia and yes I know ive left it late but do we really need to pack warm clothing at this time of year? We are doing the Flam Railway and the Troll car trip in Olden but other than that will just be looking around the other ports. The temperatures look as if they are going to be high 20s or low 30s.
Thanks in anticipation

Oh great thank you that is very helpful for my financial planning. I have to say Im really looking forward to a bit of pampering in a suite its been a very stressful year. I may not even leave the cabin !! Thanks all

Sorry first time on P & O what is auto tip. Thanks for the replies.
-
I appreciate it wont be popular with some but out of the blue we have been given an upgrade from deluxe balcony room to a suite (Hong Kong Suite) on Arcadia in 10 days time. It is only a 3 night cruise to Bruges but with this suite comes a Butler!! I believe you can say you dont need him - if so how, do we tell him direct or P & O. If we do keep him can anyone tell me do we tip him each time he does something - and how much - or at the end of the trip. We dont want to appear rude. Im thinking maybe the best thing would be to look after ourselves like we normally do lol.
-
Yes, it's looked up the cruise on the p&o site, and that link I posted. It's missing from the cruise dress link, very weird! You have the special magical mystery cruise!!!
Yes looks like it lol. We are actually going to Bruges which I believe is very lovely.

Thanks for such a quick reply. I have just visited that link and our cruise number is missing its J718P so it didnt help. Sounds like I had better sneak the dinner suit in then.

Thanks I will probably stay with what we have. If id left it for 3 days until launched I could have picked my cabin no problem. Cheers for the help
