Courtney Taylor Tours handled our group of 19 perfectly! This was my favorite time in Jamaica. We did horseback riding and rafting. From start to finish every thing was professional and the communication was timely. We had the time of our lives!! Book this your you will not be disappointed!

Great photos, Keyaj what was the cost of this excursion ?

  2. In light of Covid 19. a lot of restrictions are now imposed. Tried to book a excursion with a independent tour operator

and was told by the operator that the port authorities are denying them access.

I was also told you will only have access to a few areas.

We always go independently to enjoy the local culture, traditions and not the tourist trap..

We were forced to purchase shore excursions sponsored by the cruise ship.

    Any input on this?

Yes, as suggested, Dunns River Falls should be a must for my 3 sons and wives.  It is beautiful to see and "watch" everyone else hold each other's hands, trying NOT to slip on those rocks, etc. One of the ladies at our table years ago, did wind up with a broken finger.  As I mentioned, I would love to see a plantation, but there may not be one around anymore that people can see or visit, or it may be too far away from the area we will be in.  I will take into consideration the other suggestions as well. 🙂

I highly recommend coolblueholeochorios.com way better than Dunn's River Falls.

  5. The Blue Hole was perfect for someone who didn't want quite as vigorous excursion as the Dunn's River.  Van was clean and well maintained, our guide was friendly and spoke great English.  Back in plenty of time for the ship.

  6. With that size group it's best if you try to prearrange guide. You can even negotiate with them through emails and I am sure you will get a great price. It can be hectic with 50 different guides coming at you at the same time. You can check out Courtney Taylor Private Tours for prices,  they come highly recommended, also our first pick for excursions management on the island

Montego Bay highlights is Doctors Cave Beach, City Tour, Hip Strip Shopping, Rose Hall Great House and Scotches for lunch.

Thanks for the recommendations Jimmy. GREAT CHIOCES 😊

  8. You would have to head to Ocho Rios or Mo' Bay, neither of which we care for. We did not find Jamaica to be a good snorkeling island, so I can't really recommend any good beaches & we snorkel at just about every island we go to. We passed Hilton Rose Hall on our way to Mo' Bay and I wouldn't recommend it for snorkeling.

Jamaica is one of our least favorite islands. We were so disappointed in Mo' Bay and regret paying the money we did for shuttle service over there & back to Falmouth. If we port in Falmouth on any future cruises (we tend to stay away from Western Caribbean, not our favorite), we would just stay on the ship or just walk around the port area. Seems like we payed $30pp for the shuttle to Mo' Bay (private, not cruise shuttle).

I highly recommend Irie Blue Hole and Tubing:D

  9. Has anyone used Courtney lately? Any problems? We want to do a custom tour in Ocho Rios - Dunns River Falls, sightseeing, lunch. Was he easy to locate at the port? Any comments, suggestions appreciated!

This was our favorite excursion on our cruise due in large part to Courtney. His company was very responsive via email and quickly got back to us with a quote and easy to follow directions. The price was extremely reasonable for a private tour for two.

We started the day by meeting Cortney Taylor in the private excursion area in the Falmouth port where we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Courtney would be providing the tour himself. First stop, Blue Hole which was about 45 minutes away from the port. Robert was our guide and he was fabulous. He took excellent care of us while guiding us through the many jumps. The next stop, The White river for some tubing. Jack was our guide here. He gave us lots of great information about the flora and fauna interspersed with several Bob Marley songs. He is a great singer and a nice guy. Final stop, Scotchies for an authentic Jamaican lunch...yum.

Overall this was a wonderful tour. Courtney was so warm and friendly. I can't say enough to truly express how awesome this day was for us. I highly recommend Courtney Taylor!
